suga sat in his room, y/n being the only thing on his mind. he finally admitted it, he likes her. would she like him back? he doubts it.
who else is she on first name basis with? daichi, asahi, and kiyoko, but they have everyone call them by their first names so they probably don't count. there's hinata, probably too young for her and she says he's like a little brother. and then oikawa, that's the one he worries about, does she like him? suga thinks oikawa's way cooler, more attractive, and more talented than him. why would she like him back?

daichi: personally, i think she likes you back. but if you do end up telling her and she doesn't feel the same way, things will probably still be alright between you two since i know damn well she does not want to lose you
daichi: of course it'll hurt and be awkward for a bit, but everything will be alright. feelings are weird
suga: hold on give me a second to process all that
suga: you're right, but are you sure she doesn't like oikawa? and what about oikawa? does he like her?
daichi: oikawa doesn't like her like that, i know for sure
suga: how do you know that?
daichi: he'll tell you when he feels like telling you, it's not my place to tell you
suga: that's fair
suga: you wearing socks?
daichi: yes...

daichi: oh

suga: we don't need to say that, we're wearing socks

suga went through rehearsals, staring at l/n and oikawa, or y/n and toru as they call each other. them laughing together, they're so close together for their choreography, how he wishes to be in oikawa's spot. though daichi told him otherwise, he still believes they like each other, the way they look at each other and how tightly they hold each other. why would he stand a chance against oikawa?
