i don't know too much about volleyball , but i do know about theatre, so that's what i'll write about :)

y/n, daichi, and suga all did well on their math test, especially since they were mainly focused on tonight, which is their opening night.
throughout the rehearsal process, the cast has been posting about the show, telling everyone to come see it, ryunosuke tanaka has done an outstanding job of posting about the show and stuff like that. he was super excited to be performing at karasuno, his sister stage managed when she was in high school. he wanted to show off that karasuno theatre is still amazing, the cast and crew highly appreciated it.
"holy shit i'm craving mac n cheese" suga had gotten used to heading to y/n's before their first show. as if on cue, her mom texted her asking if koshi wanted to come over after school
"mom just texted me asking if you wanted to come over, so i'm gonna tell her yes,"
"fuck yeah," suga smiled

after a long day of just waiting, and a math test, they finally get to go home
"have fun you two, and don't choke on mac n cheese," daichi called out to them when they went their separate ways
"can't promise anything!" suga shouted back
"we will perish just to spite you!" y/n replied
"no, we have a show," suga said to her
"we will perish after the show!" y/n corrected her sentence
"there you go," suga laughed as they continued their path to y/n's house

"mom! i'm home," she shouted as she opened the door
"hi honey, hi koshi. i haven't made food yet, so please be patient,"
"that's fine," she replied to her mom, then turned to suga, "maybe you should take a nap," she suggested
"okay, wake me up when food's ready," he says as he lies down on the couch, nearly immediately passing out
"so, y/n, when did you two start dating?" mika asks from the kitchen
"what? we're not dating,"
"that's exactly how your dad looked at me before... you know," she didn't like talking about the divorce, it wasn't easy on anyone. her mom got full custody of her and she hasn't seen her dad in a while, she forgets what their last name was before, but in the end, it's fine. she has her mom and her friends, it doesn't matter.
"yeah... i know koshi's different. i've known him for a year and i've gotten so close and attached to him already,"
"i can tell, you've liked people and been with other people before, but you somehow met your soulmate in high school,"
y/n blushed, not knowing how to respond to that, her parents' divorce kind of scared her of catching feelings or getting in a relationship, but she trusts koshi with all her heart. neither if them know what happened to y/n's dad, they don't know who he remarried, that's if he even did. both her and her mom are happy they have the people they're close to.
