the six of them met at y/n's house for dinner before opening night for dinner, as they did a year ago
"thank you for the food, ms. l/n," ushijima told her after finishing it, mika gave up on telling him to call her by her first name. ushijima was just that polite
"yeah, thanks mom!" toru was going to continue calling her mom, no matter what y/n told him
"of course," mika smiled, "anyone want seconds?"
"i'm good, thank you," tendo said
"oikawa didn't choke on mac n cheese this time!" suga pointed out and everyone applauded toru for achieving the bare minimum
"i think we need to start heading over soon, once again, thank you, mika," iwa said
"yeah, thank you, bye mom! love you!" y/n waved as they all left and went to the theater

"it sucks that we only have two years of this,"oikawa complained
"suga and i are just better, we have three years of this," tendo boasted as he high fived suga
"we'll get you guys free tickets to our shows," y/n laughed
"you promise?" tendo asked
"y/n, you seriously don't have to," suga tried to reason with her. however, she insisted; that'll be proved in the future
tendo was disappointed that he was ignored
"let's not worry about the future and focus on tonight's show," ushijima advised
"right!" suga and y/n said at the same time
"soulmates," oikawa and iwa groaned rolled their eyes, also at the same time
"you're one to talk" tendo laughed
"i'm going to miss performing with you guys after this show," ushijima said, basically forgetting that he advised they stop talking about the future and how much they are going to miss the present
"me too, ushi," y/n sighed
"me, haj, y/n, and wakatoshi will see you two together," oikawa smiled at tendo and suga
"you better," suga laughed
"i wouldn't miss seeing you perform for the world," y/n lovingly told koshi
