This one isn't as good, I'm sorry. I like the ending though. I think. I don't actually know if I like this part two. Hopefully, it's consistent with itself and the previous part, I didn't revise or look back on it. That's probably not good to confess as an author, oh well.
---------------------
The traffic on Tuesday wasn't too bad, especially in the small town. Even though most people were getting off work at this time like Changbin was, there wasn't enough to cause an hour-long jam.
He hadn't forgotten about the kid who sat next to him at the bar. Since that afternoon, he had been waiting for Tuesday to roll around so he could finally see the other again. Despite knowing minimal information about him, he intrigued Changbin. The way he was so easy to open up to him and nonchalant about speaking about his childhood and emotions the way he did was new to Changbin. Most people he knew, including himself, would always leave that stuff until further into a relationship when you're getting to know someone. Not before you know their name.
He was sitting in his car, the music not too loud since he didn't want to disturb the people in the vehicles around him. The sound of all the cars on the verge of falling apart right there on the road was enough to drive anyone crazy. He didn't want to add to the annoyance.
While he was driving to the bar, his mind started to wander to what meeting to boy for the second time would be like. How awkward would it be? What would they talk about? Was there anything that he was missing? Was he supposed to bring something? His mind kept racing through questions making his grip on the steering wheel tighten significantly, his knuckles turning white out of nervousness. Of course, the green lights changing rapidly and the red lights lasting for five minutes didn't help as it seemed Fate wanted him to sit in the car with his thoughts to make him even more anxious than he already was.
It took him twenty-something minutes to get to the bar. He wasn't paying attention to the time. He figured it wouldn't matter when he got there, just as long as he showed up. The other man said that he'd be there almost all day anyway, and he wasn't in control of when he showed up. He couldn't control the traffic.
He walked into the old building, looking around for the other man that was supposed to meet with. He sat down at the bar where they were sat together the week previous. He didn't see the blonde boy in the building but still waited. He figured he might've gone somewhere briefly while waiting. There was a glass with condensation running down its sides in front of the seat next to him, so there must've been someone there already. He just didn't know who.
He could ask the bartender if he had shown up at all, and that's what he did.
"Hey, uh, have you seen-"
"He's in the bathroom," the man behind the bar spoke, cutting Changbin off. He must've remembered them from before. "Do you want anything to drink?" He asked.
"Not right now, thank you."
Changbin sat on the stool, waiting for the other to come out of the bathroom, and started looking through his phone to pass the time. There wasn't much going on in the building to interest him long enough.
"Oh! You're here!"
Changbin looked up from his phone, hearing the familiar voice from behind him, seeing the other sit down on the stool next to him. He had a bright smile on his face, seeming much more positive than he was before. Changbin smiled in response to the other.
"I showed up."
"I have good news!" The other exclaimed excitedly. Whatever it was, he was pleased about it. His smile grew as he spoke when he thought of it.
