Y'all got two fluff chapters in a row. It's time to change that now. This story is based on one that I had written before for another ship, but I changed a few of the details. Hopefully, it's still pretty good.

"I love you," Minho smiled at his fiancé.

"I love you, too, Min," Chan responded, placing a small kiss on Minho's lips. "I'll be back before you know it."

"I'll be here waiting."

Chan was in a band and they were going on their first world tour, so they were going to be gone for a long while. It wasn't something that anyone in the group or Minho had expected to happen, but it did and everyone was so happy and excited that they were finally taking off. Of course, the long time away from each other was going to be hard, but the two would be able to manage it. They promised each other that they would.

They hugged each other once more before they wouldn't be able to for the next year and a half. The hug lingered for longer than either had expected it to, but they didn't care. They wanted that moment to last forever if it could, but they knew that Chan had to leave soon.

They let go of each other and just looked into one another's eyes for a moment, visually sharing the love they held for the other. Chan turned toward the door, turning the knob to leave. As he walked out, he took any chance he could to turn and look at Minho. He didn't want to leave him behind, but Minho had to stay home to take care of the house.

Minho stood on the porch and watched as he got into the cab parked in front of their house. He smiled at Chan once he shut the car door, and they were driving off. He was all alone now. His fiancé was gone for the next year and a half. He was going to be without him for over a year.

As soon as the cab was out of sight, he walked back into the house and shut the door, letting the tears that breached his eyes fall. He leaned his back against the wooden door and slid down, not wanting to be alone. Minho pushed his knees up to his chest as his arms wrapped around them.

He let out numerous sobs, wailing for Chan to come back already. If someone had seen him, he was sure they would've thought that someone had killed Chan in front of him. He was letting everything out. He let it all out in the open, not caring if any of the windows were open for the neighbors to hear.

He was somehow going to have to survive on his own without Chan next to him. His heart hurt just at the thought of it, but now he also had to live through it. He had to make sure that he stayed in good health for Chan. He wasn't going to get hurt or ill. That wasn't allowed to happen.

He stood up and walked into the kitchen, sitting down at the island. He looked at the stove, then the sink, then the fridge. Everything he looked at just had Chan stained on them. It hadn't even been five minutes, and he was already going insane.

Months had gone by; Minho felt better about being alone now since he had gotten used to the silence. He also had work to distract him from the suffocating loneliness at home. He made sure to call Chan every day, if not every day, then at least every other day. He also texted him quite frequently, updating him on whatever he was doing. At first, it was a little awkward since he didn't want to bother Chan with all of that, but Chan didn't mind. He did the same to Minho, and they equaled out.

Minho had the day off and decided to relax at home rather than go out. He wanted to sit and rest for a little bit. He was on his phone with the T.V on in the background, lounging on the couch in the living room. For some reason, Chan hadn't responded to his texts or phone calls, but he just assumed that he was busy that day and forgot to tell Minho. It happened sometimes, and Minho understood. Some things were more important than returning a phone call. He wasn't going to be a child about it.
