This story is based on the song It's Not You by Halestorm. If you like female fronted hard rock, you'll like Halestorm. Mind you, a lot of their songs are mature and about mature things (i.e. sex), so there's that. This song isn't though, that's why I'm writing something based on it.

Changbin sat at the bar, taking small sips of his drink. He was here alone, but he was waiting for his date to arrive any moment. He would look at the door every time it would open to see if Hyunjin would be walking through. It never was though. He was growing anxious and started thinking that he had been stood up.
This would've been their second date, and both of the men wanted it to be a little more casual than fancy and expensive dinner. They both agreed to meet at the bar at around 7:30. It was now pushing 8:20, and Changbin was growing impatient. He unlocked his phone, texting Hyunjin for the fifth time asking when he was going to show up.
He continued to nurse on his drink, breathing in the thick smoke around him from the others smoking their cigars and cigarettes not too far away. He made eye contact with another man accidentally and he could tell the other was making eyes with him, which he wasn't a fan of. The other smirked a little bit and started to stand up to make his way closer to Changbin, walking between the groups of people that were blocking his way.
"Hey," the other spoke as he sat down, setting the glass in his hand down gently. He put his hand out for Changbin to shake.
Changbin looked at it and slowly complied, giving the other man his hand. He decided he'd be polite to the other but made sure he seemed disinterested in whatever the man was going to talk about, not looking at him, not smiling, barely putting any emotion in his face.
"My name's Minho. You?"
"Changbin."
They let go of each other's hand, both taking bigger drinks from their glasses this time.
"So, you're here alone?" Minho asked.
"For now."
Minho nodded trying to think of a plan of action to try to get Changbin to leave with him. He thought the other man was very attractive and he really wanted to have him for himself that night. Whether that was actual attraction or just the alcohol, he wasn't sure, but he was going to try his hardest to convince the other to join his party of one.
"I've been here since before you came in. Are you sure your dates gonna show up? It's been a while," Minho explained. He looked at the clock on his phone to see exactly how long it's been. "Yeah, you've been here for 45 minutes now. They haven't shown yet."
"He will," Changbin replied matter-of-fact-ly. He really didn't want to talk to Minho anymore than he needed to. He realized that his short responses weren't giving the taller man any hints and decided that he was going to have to be more blunt sooner or later. It was something that he didn't like doing but was able to do when necessary.
"I don't think so. From experience, if I may, after 30 minutes, if they don't show up, they're not coming. I think you should just give up and accept that he's not coming, and you got stood up."
Even though Changbin had already thought about that, he didn't like hearing it from someone else. Someone who knew neither him nor Hyunjin. He wasn't a big fan of people who got into his business and made assumptions for him, especially if it was for their own benefit. He could tell what Minho wanted and he wasn't going to give it to him.
He turned harshly to face Minho, making sure they made eye contact.
"Listen, buddy. I don't know you, and I already don't like you. Sorry if I've turned you on from just sitting here, but I'm here for someone else. Not you. So please, leave me alone."
Right on cue, Hyunjin walked into the bar and looked for Changbin. Once he saw him, he started making his way toward him eventually seeing the other man next to him, to close for comfort.
He walked faster trying not to get anyone's attention. As soon as he was next to Changbin, he put his arm around his shoulder and looked at the stranger. He tilted his head slightly and gave him a sarcastic smile.
"Who's this, baby?"
"Ah, Hyunjin. You're here," Changbin grabbed a hold of Hyunjin's hand, placing a kiss on it. "I told you he'd come." He whispered to Minho and glared at him. "This is Minho. He was just being a pest, but he was just leaving, right, Minho?"
Minho looked at the taller man next to Changbin and a thought popped into his head almost immediately. He downed the rest of the alcohol in his glass and started to talk.
"What if, just maybe, both of you came home with me? You're both hot as hell. It would be fun. How about it?" Minho smirked, looking at both of the men in front of him. Surely, they couldn't resist that offer.
This pushed Changbin over the edge. He came to the bar for a date with Hyunjin, who he adored. Not to get hit on by some stranger suggesting a threesome.
He stood up from his stool, and despite being as short as he was, he was able to easily look intimidating. He grabbed Minho's arm pulling him out of his own stool and gave him a solid right hook to the face.
This caught everyone's attention in the bar, with some people cheering and clapping for Changbin whether they knew what was going on or not. This affirmation from the strangers around them gave Changbin an audience, to which he smiled to himself. He was proud.
The blow knocked Minho over, who caught himself on the bar's ledge. He brought a hand up to where he was just hit, wincing in pain.
"What the fuck was that for?" Minho yelled.
"I told you to leave, didn't I?" Changbin asked. He slammed some cash down on the bar for the bartender, grabbed Hyunjin's arm and stormed out of the place. He was pissed off beyond belief at this point and he wanted to get away from Minho before he killed him.
