Taking a Leap (Matt Czuchry Fanfic)

Chapter 11

They enter a more secluded part of the VIP area and sit down in a couple of lounge chairs. "Hmm, it seems our surprise isn't here yet. Later then." Simon says with a shrug and sits down.

They all start drinking champagne and talking amongst each other.

At some point June feels a hand brushing her neck and it makes her tingle all over her body. She turns around to yell at the stranger who's touching her because no matter how good it feels it's not okay. She doesn't have time to say anything before a pair of lips crashes down on hers and she instantly knows it's Matt. Her own Matt. Not Matt Bomer.

"Hello baby." He whispers against her lips before letting go of her.

April jumps up from her chair and squeals before running over to hug Matt.

June lift an eyebrow in mock-anger "Is there something I should know here, Matt?"

"Yes, I'm running off with April. We're getting married tomorrow." He laughs.

"No, you're gonna marry her." April yells and then realises what she just said. Everyone starts laughing loudly.

"You and my parents seem to think so." Matt chuckles and June adds "And Brian."

"And me." Matt Bomer chirps in and everyone laughs again.

"Should we just leave?" June yell-whispers. "We can just tell them we're going on our honeymoon."

"I like the way you think, baby." Matt winks at her but sits down in the free chair next to her.

Everyone greets Matt and then goes back to talking amongst each other.

"Come sit here, baby." Matt pats his lap and June immediately moves to sit in it.

"We're so bad at being apart, Matt."

"I know. But actually this time our common friend Matt Bomer is to blame. Not that I'm going to blame him anything. Maybe apart from him being way too awesome." Matt laughs heartily and then says "My mom and dad are here too. They said they were gonna send me to bed without dinner if they couldn't tag along." As if they were summoned by magic Matt's parents enter the room and wave at June.

"Hello honey." Sandra says and hugs June warmly.

"Nice to see you guys again." June hugs Sandra back and then hugs Andrew who is smiling as brightly as his wife.

"You too, sweetheart." Andrew says and then turns to Matt with a grin "And who might you be, young man? Are you this fine young woman's boyfriend?"

June doubles over from laughing at Andrew's joke.

"Might as well be since everyone keeps asking." Matt murmurs so only June can hear it.

"No, no, Andrew. This young man is just the one keeping me company until something better comes along." She teases and then bends down to whisper in Matt's ear "As if that's possible."

He pulls her back down into his lap and whisper "I really wish we were alone right now, baby." Then he kisses her shoulder and her neck.

"I really wish that too, Matt." She whispers back and turns her head around so that he can kiss her lips greedily.

"Go home you two." Bomer's voice booms at them.

"We would love to, thank you." Matt yells back.

"Works for me." Bomer answers laughingly. "Me too." Brian says and April chirps in "Everyone three." Everyone starts laughing because of April's comment and Sandra says "You certainly have my permission."

"Yes mom, we know you want grandchildren as soon as possible. You want them to be born yesterday." Matt sighs and lets out a small chuckle.

"You have to wait like at least a year. June has a Nexplanon implant and it's not due for removing until next year." July says cheekily.

That doesn't throw Sandra off. "You can have it removed before it's due if you decide you wanna try to get pregnant."

"I'm gonna remind June of that." Brian chirps in. "You see, I have this feeling that June will be a wonderful mother so I don't see a point in her waiting. She might as well have a kid soon so she gets to be a mother for as many years as possible."

"We are leaving now, baby." Matt states.

"But I didn't get to talk to Simon and the other Matt for very long." June protests and Matt laughs.

"Brian will give you our numbers so we can keep in touch. See you lovebirds." Simon says with a big smile.

"Simon says." Matt whispers in June's ear and she laughs and says "Okay then. Bye friends. Have a very very fun night and see you for brunch."

Then Matt drags her after him and Sandra yells "Show her your own home this time, honey."

"Mother says." June laughs.

"Mother's word is the law." Matt laughs and catches a cab for them.

"181 Fremont Street, please." Matt says to the cab drivers as June closes the door after entering. The drive is very short which pleases June.
