"I still can't believe we're doing this." Jade huffed as she adjusted her grip on the reigns.

"You didn't have to come. Nick just asked me to do it because Maggie is pissed at him." Glenn explained.

"Yeah, she's pissed at all of us." Jade remarked. "I can't handle her death stares. And that barn is freaking me out. I can't stop thinking about what would happen if that lock broke. Or the Greene's get mad at us, and let 'em all out, and they just eat us all."

"That's not going to happen, Liz."

"How do you know that?" She huffed, looking over at him in exasperation.

"Liz-"

"No, you don't know that. We barely know these people, we don't know what they're capable of. And then, they'll just have more walker friends for their walker family. God, I'm going mental." Jade muttered, releasing the reign with one of her hands to rub her forehead. "I just don't know anyone to get hurt." She finished as they approached the pharmacy, moving to get off the horse as Glenn did the same.

"Hey, it's going to be okay. I know it. We'll make it through this." Glenn told her, pulling her into a hug, kissing her hairline.

She sighed into his chest, holding him close to her as he arms tightly wrapped around his torso. It took everything in her to not cry into his chest as she thought about losing her family, her friends, him.

"What does she even need now?" Jade whispered, wiping under her eyes as she pulled back.

"Uh, I don't know what it is exactly." He replied, pulling a folded piece of paper out of his back pocket.

Jade's eyebrows furrowed as she grabbed it, opening the paper, her eyes widening as she read. "Oh, holy shit. It's a Plan B pill. It's what you take the morning after you have like, unprotected sex, and you don't want the possibility of getting pregnant."

"Are you serious?"

"Mhmm. Trust me. I've taken a few before." She answered, turning and walking into the pharmacy.

"I'm sorry?" Glenn choked, following her inside.

"What? I was a reckless teenager once. And I did not want to end up like my brother and have a kid at 16." Jade joked. "I'll check the back, you look in the feminine section. I'm also going to look for some more antibiotics, Hershel was complaining we're getting low."

"Alright." Glenn agreed with a nod, bending down to look through the shelves.

Jade grabbed a basket as she moved towards the back of the pharmacy, looking through the names on the bottles for what seemed familiar. Her eyes focused on the labels, her hands moving quickly through the bottles. Moving her hand to the back of the shelf, noticing a a bottle of flucloxacillin. A smile grew on her face as she picked up the bottle, her fingers tightly wrapping around the lid.

A short snarl sounded from behind the shelf as a rotting hand tightly gripped her wrist. She shrieked, her other hand pushing onto the shelving as she attempted to pull herself out of the walker's grip. Jade kicked the shelving, falling to the ground as the walker fell with the shelves, before it moved around the shelf, crawling towards her, barely affected to being hit with the shelving unit.

"Glenn! Help!" Jade pleaded in a scream and she rushed over to where her wrench had slid when she fell back. As she crawled, the walker pulled at her ankles, trying to catch up with her as its jaw snapped at her.

The walker had almost fully crawled on top of her, moving forward to bite down on her neck as Glenn jumped over the counter, hitting the walker off off her with a shelf. Jade winced as the the walker fell off of her, the girl crawling away with tears falling down her cheeks.

Slamming the shelf down on it's neck, the walker fell to the ground beside them, rotting blood splashing onto the walls and floor. Glenn immediately knelt down in front of her, placing his hands on Jade's shoulders.

"Did it get you? Did it bite you? Liz?" Glenn questioned frantically.

Jade shook her head in a 'no' unable to speak due to how frantic her breathing was. "Oh, thank god." Glenn explained, pulling her towards him in a tight hug.

She cried into his shoulder as she attempted to steady her breathing, as her eyes opened, the walker was sitting up. Jade quickly pushed Glenn off her, grabbing her wrench and moving forward, slamming it into its head.

The walker fell back to the ground, a large gauge on the side of it's head, moving to kneel beside it, she brought the wrench down on its head, repeatedly, the blood splattering onto her face as well as onto her clothes.

Glenn's pulls on her arms and words to stop went unnoticed by her, as she was fueled in a fit of anger. Her mind was filled with lost and sadness as to what she had already gone through in the short months of the apocalypse. She was brought back to the first time she encountered a walker, the terror that had flowed through her veins, and how it compared to her encounter seconds prior.

Once it's head was a mere pile of mush the girl dropped her weapon, her breath heavy as she fell back into Glenn's arms, sobbing into her hands. Glenn's arms wrapped around her torso, pulling her close, concerned for the girl after what had occurred.

"Hey, Elizabeth, it's okay. It's okay. You're okay. It's over." Glenn comforted. "You did good. You're alright." He whispered as the girls body shook with her sobs.

One of his hands made its way to her head, running his hand over her hair comfortingly as her breath finally began to calm.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry." She muttered, bringing her legs to her chest as she curled up in his arms.

"It's okay, you're okay. We're okay."
