"WELL, DOUBLE FUCK."

TW - TALK OF RAPE AND SA PLEASE BE ADVISED
Jade walked out of the farmhouse, seeing Glenn sat on one of the rocking chairs, holding a book, simply staring down at the cover. She stepped closer to him, drawing his attention with her footsteps. The Rhee immediately stood, placing the book on the table beside him.

"Hey." Glenn spoke with a quiet gulp.

"Hi. Um, can we talk?" Jade asked, picking at the skin around her nails.

"Yeah, yeah. Of  course." Glenn agreed, nodding to the rocking chair beside him before sitting down in his seat. "Again, I'm really sorry-"

"Stop, please, just stop. You don't have anything to apologize for, Glenn." She spoke quietly, watching as his eyebrows furrowed. "I should be the one apologizing to you."

"What? What do you mean?"

"I.. I was really rude and mean when you were just trying to tell me how you feel. I don't.. well, I wasn't expecting to hear that. So, I overreacted. And, I'm sorry, if that hurt you. I don't want to hurt you." Jade explained.

"Liz.."

"Look, can you let me finish, please?" Jade said with a light laugh, taking his silence as a 'yes'. "I was caught up in past and what others have done to me, and I didn't think about how much I trust you. And, I do, trust you. I trust you with my life, Glenn. And , I really like you. And I don't want to lose you, in any way. But, I'm not ready to say it, even if you are. I hope that's okay."

"Of course that's okay, Elizabeth." Glenn said with a happy smile as he stood up, grabbing onto her hands to move her into a stand. "You take as long as you need, I'll be here. Because, well I don't want to scare you again." He joked.

"You can say it, Glenn. It's okay." Jade smiled.

"Okay, thank you for the consent. It's because I love you."

The group stood around the RV, looking to Rick and Shane who had not done as they were supposed to and dropped Randall off somewhere away from camp. Most of the group were annoyed while others were confused at what had happened.

"So, did you guys just not want to stick to the plan we had discussed?" Jade accused, both of her arms crossed over her chest.

"Did you two ever mean to stick to the plan?" Andrea added.

"Are we going to keep him here? He could be really dangerous." Glenn spoke.

"We will know if we can keep him here soon enough." Rick answered calmly.

Basically on cue, Daryl walked forward with bloodied knuckles, having 'talked' things over with Randall to get information. The group turned to look at him, they're attention moving to him instead of Rick and Shane.

"Boy there's got a gang, 30 men. They have heavy artillery and they ain't looking to make friends." Daryl started, adjusting how his crossbow sat on his shoulder.

"Well fuck, that's not great." Jade mumbled.

"Not the worst part, Horvath." Daryl spoke solemnly. "They roll through here, our boys are dead. And our women, they're gonna- God, they're gonna wish they were."

"Well, double fuck." Jade sighed as she bent down to sit on one of the stools, watching her reaction Glenn put a hand on her shoulder, rubbing it comfortingly although he was just as frightened as she was.

"What did you do?" Carol asked innocently.

"Had a little chat." Daryl answered bluntly after glancing down to his bloody knuckles.

"Okay- no one, and I mean no one, goes near this guy." Rick ordered.

"Rick what are you going to do?" Lori questioned with terror.

"We have no choice. He's a threat. And we have to eliminate the threat." Rick replied.

"So, so- you're just gonna kill him?" Dale asked in confusion.

"It's settled, I'll do it today." The Grimes said, ignoring Dale's question. The man had walked off with a nod, quickly followed by an angry and confused Dale.

Maggie had stalked off, almost in a stupor, obviously shaken from what Daryl had just informed the group of, and she was immediately followed after by Nick. The others dispersed, Carol and Lori speaking to one another in fear as they walked, mostly watching Daryl move off to his corner of the farm.

"Guess I shouldn't have convinced Rick and Hershel to save the kid, huh?" Jade joked with a light laugh, trying to lighten the tension in her own mind.

"Oh come on, don't say that. None of us could've known." Glenn assured.

"Do you think people of his group will come looking? Some of his friends could go looking for his wandering corpse and find us with him tied up in a goddamn barn." Jade spoke quickly, obviously panicked at what could occur to them in the near future.

"I wish I knew, Liz." Glenn spoke with a slight frown. "Come here." He mumbled, pulling her up from her seat and into a hug. "Nothin' is going to happen to you. I promise you that."

"Thank you, Glenn. But, it's not me I'm worried about. It's Theodora. What would they do to her?" Jade muttered into his neck.

"I don't know. I don't know."

Jade sat in the RV, completely enthralled in the novel she had picked out of the few books they had. She was biting at her pinky nail as her eyes scanned the words, absorbing the information and loving every second of it.

Her attention was pulled away from the book from the soft closing of the door to the RV, spotting her father walking in with an exasperated sigh. "What's wrong, dad?" Jade questioned as she placed a scarp of paper in the book to old her place before closing it.

"I'm worried about that kid, Jade. He doesn't deserve this." Dale replied, placing his shotgun on the counter with a sigh.

"Dad.. did you not hear Daryl?" Jade asked slowly, placing her book beside her on the bench-seat. "Did we not hear the same explanation?"

"I'm sure we did.. but, just because those guys did that to people, doesn't mean he did." Dale explained.

"What? What does that even mean? Even if he didn't, uh, partake doesn't mean he's a good guy. He could've helped those people, and saved however many girls were hurt by them. If he could just stand by and let it happen, then maybe he should die." Jade described before scoffing and moving past her father to leave the RV.
