"THAT MEAN RICK'S DORA?"

"Your stepmother's things?" Rick questioned, moving a few items around as he looked through a small cardboard box.

"He was so sure she'd recover." Maggie answered with a nod, her hands in her pockets. " They'd just pick up where they left off."

"Looks like he found an old friend." Jade spoke up, raising up the flask she had found on the dresser before tossing it to Shane.

"That belonged to my grandfather, gave it to Dad when he died." The Greene explained.

"I didn't take Hershel for a drinker." Nick said from behind Maggie.

"No, he gave it up on the day I was born. He didn't even allow liquor in the house."

"What's the bar in town?" Rick questioned, moving towards the door.

"Hatlin's. He practically lived there in his drinking days." Maggie answered.

"I'd bet that's where he is." Jade said, looking over at Rick, the two practically read each other minds as they nodded, knowing they'd go find him. "I saw the place when we went out. Guess I'm the map. Huh?"

"That mean Rick's Dora?" Nick joked, stifling a laugh as he did so.

"Haha, very funny." Rick replied, shaking his finger at the Horvath man as he walked out the room. "I'll go get the truck."

Maggie, Nick, and Shane each walked out of the room, leaving Jade who had earned an odd look from Glenn. "What are you doing, Liz? You just had a goddamn panic attack."

"Yeah, trust me you don't have to remind me of that." Jade joked.

"Elizabeth, that is not something to joke about." Glenn spoke, a serious expression etched on his face.

"Glenn, I've been dealing with this shit for years. Joking about this is the way I get past it." Jade explained as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's sweet you're worried about me, it really is. But I'm okay. I promise."

"I.. I just don't want to lose you." The Rhee mumbled, looking down at that.

"Oh, sorry? What was that? I couldn't hear you." She teased, smiling up at Glenn.

"Mm, I think you heard me the first time." Glenn spoke, softly grasping the back of Jade's neck before kissing her forehead.

"You're not going to lose me anytime soon. I'm to stubborn to die." Jade said with a cheeky smile.

"Yeah, yeah. But, I'm coming with you two. It'll put my mind at ease." He confirmed with a nod.

"Okay, mom." Jade joked, slipping out of his grip as she walked towards the front of the house.

"Did you just call me mom?" Glenn questioned, with a short pause before chasing after her.

Glenn followed the girl through the farmhouse, the Horvath laughing at what she had called him while Glenn had an extreme look of confusion.

Rick had almost a matching expression as he waited beside the truck, watching as the pair raced out of the house. "What are you laughing about, Jade?" Rick questioned with a small chuckle.

Jade and Glenn each glanced at one another, smiling as they did so before moving closer to the truck. "Oh, it's nothing." The girl answered, sitting in the passenger seat while Glenn moved into the back.
