CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN// CONFRONTATION
"PLEASE, JUST LEAVE
ME ALONE."ִֶָ 𓂃⊹ ִֶָ
Liz was leaned against a far wall in cafeteria of the prison, Theodora leaning against her side while Michonne stood a few feet away. She stared over at Glenn and Carl, who were crouched onto the floor, drawing out a map of the prison with chalk. After Rick made the group of five leave, Carl explained exactly were he had found them.
And how there was, most definitely, a breach in the gate or walls of the prison.
And it was likely the Governor would use it against them.
"Now, you said you found Tyreese's group here?" Glenn questioned, tapping his middle and pointer finger in a small square towards the left.
"Yeah." Carl answered with a small nod, glancing over the makeshift map again to assure he was correct.
Glenn shook his head, moving his fingers through the chalk map as though he was walking through the building. "We secured this."
"He thought he came through here."
"So, that means there's another breach." The Korean said quietly, mostly to himself as he wiped his forehead.
With Rick trying to fully get past the death of his wife and Elizabeth's mind preoccupied with the events that occurred in Woodbury; as well as still attempting to adjust to being back. The two previous leaders weren't the most reliable at the moment. So, Glenn took it upon himself to step up. Find a way to fix the problem.
"The whole front of the prison is unsecure. If walkers just strolled in, then it's gonna be a piece cake for a group of armed men." Glenn explained.
"Why are we even so sure he's going to attack?" Beth asked as she glanced around, her arms tightly crossed over her chest. "Maybe you scared him off."
Michonne looked up from where she had been staring at her feet, glancing over to the blonde. "He had fishtanks full of heads. Walkers and humans. Trophies. He's coming."
"He's too proud. We killed his men, we made it past his wall. We ruined his walker-fight. He's going to come for us." Liz told, tucking her hair behind her ear.
"We should hit him now." Glenn spoke with a short nod.
"What?" Beth exclaimed.
"He won't be expecting it. We sneak back in and put a bullet in his head." He explained, tapping the map with his pointer finger.
Carol scoffed. "We're not assassins."
Glenn stood up, his hand balled in tight fists at his sides. "You know where his apartment is." Glenn told as he walked closer to Michonne. "You and I could end this tonight. I-I'll do it myself. Just bring me there." He pleaded, staring at Michonne who slowly nodded.
"No way. We aren't doing this tonight." Liz spoke up as she released a deep breath, her gaze immediately catching Glenn's angry eyes. "He's going to be on guard and looking for us."
"She's right." Hershel agreed with a solemn expression. "He didn't know you were coming last time and look at what happened.. you were almost beat to death. Daryl was captured. And you and Elizabeth were almost executed."
"You can't stop me." The Korean spoke angrily.
Hershel sighed as he shook his head. "Rick would never allow this."
"You really think he's in the position to make that choice?" Glenn scoffed, his jaw tightening as he stared at Hershel.
"Glenn, you really need to calm down. Go take a breather." Nick told as he wiped his forehead before looking to the cell block behind them.
