CHAPTER FORTY-THREE// RESCUED
"I COULDN'T LET HIM,
I JUST GOT HER BACK."ִֶָ 𓂃⊹ ִֶָ
"What did he do to you in there?"
Elizabeth glanced over to him with a heavy breath as she resituated herself. She was still crying slightly, feeling overwhelmed with emotion. Her gaze was mostly trained on the dead walker in the corner that Glenn had killed after it was pushed inside by Merle.
"Did he.."
"No, not like that." She quickly responded. "He barely touched me, that way at least. It just brought up a really bad memory."
"I'm sorry, Liz." He spoke kindly, grabbing onto one of her hands. Elizabeth had flinched slightly before further opening her hand and latching tightly onto his.
Her gaze moved back to Glenn's, the boy noting the sadness and tears in her eyes while she noticed pure anger. "It happened a long time ago. I was in therapy for it. I just.. I didn't think I'd have to worry about that kind of thing with the dead roaming. I forgot what kind of things people are capable of."
"I mean, shit, look what they did to you." Liz continued as she choked back a sob.
"Hey, hey. It doesn't matter. I'm okay. As long as he didn't.. I'm fine, Liz." Glenn assured.
"He didn't. I promise." The Horvath repeated, as she pushed herself further into his side, leaning her body into his chest. His arm wrapped around her chest, the warmth from his body providing comfort to her trembling body.
They sat like that for a few moments, taking in the fact that they were with one another again. Liz had her arms wrapped tightly around his waist as she hugged his side, feeling like he would dissolve into thin air, that this would all be nothing but a dream.
Glenn then placed a hand on her arm, guiding her off of him as he stood with a pained groaned. Her gaze followed him closely as he walked toward the side of the room, stopping at the foot of the walker. He placed a foot on the walkers right shoulder, grabbing onto it's wrist as he pulled, successfully ripping off it's arm.
"What are you doing, Glenn?" Jade questioned slowly as he let out a pained groan, clutching his stomach.
He dropped the arm, stomping repeatedly on the elbow. It's bone popped as Glenn sighed, grabbing a hold of the bone before pulling it out. He broke the forearm in half on his knee before slowly handing one of them over.
"I'm getting you out of here."

Glenn and Elizabeth were tightly pressing their backs against the wall right beside the door. Footsteps and inaudible whispers were heard from outside. The door soon opened, Glenn launching forward as he pushed his weapon into the throat of the first man.
He dropped to the floor, clutching his throat as he bled out. his gun firing as his hand tightened around the trigger. Glenn pushed his arms out, latching onto Merle's shoulders. Liz moved out behind him, grabbing onto the third and final man, pushing him against the wall. The mans hands were attempting to push the girl off as she moved her hand up, slamming the sharp end into his throat.
Elizabeth dropped the bleeding man from her grip, hearing as he slumped down to the ground. Liz dropped the makeshift weapon, leaning down to grab the machine gun from the man's hands. She turned on her heel, becoming angrier as she listened to Glenn struggle to defeat Merle.
"You let him go! Right now, Merle. I swear to you I blow your hillbilly brains all over this fuckin' room!" Liz shouted in anger, watching as Merle looked over to her with disgust. "Move it. Now."
