===One: The Three Broomsticks===

ALEX POV

I was going to do it.

I was going to tell John that I loved him.

And a trip out of school was the perfect way to do it.

The hustle and bustle that filled the streets of Hogsmeade was a lot like the craziness of the town centers in Nevis. Hundreds of people would flood the streets, baby screams and church bells ringing every hour. Dozens of tiny shops were crowded with a plethora of people and products.

Hogsmeade was filled to the brim with students, and all of the shops were selling wizard goods and had peculiar wizard names.

We were at a pub called The Three Broomsticks. this specific pub prided itself on their butterbeer, which was the tasty concoction I was nervously downing. I was about to order my 7th mug when I realized that I should probably just suck it up and tell him right now.

I took a deep breath before brushing aside his temporary blonde hair and whispering in his ear.

"Hey, mi Principe, can I talk to you?"

He smiled, blushing a little bit. "We do a lot of that."

He was right.

"Yeah, but it's important."

"Ok, we can talk over there," He pointed to a secluded table at the back of the restaurant. "But I have to go to the bathroom first, ok?"

I nodded and we both stood up. Anyone with eyes could tell I was freaking out as I walked to the table.

"I love you, John." I whispered, my voice shaking a little bit. Was I going to cry? Why was I about to cry?

"Are you Alexander Hamilton?" A boy in Ravenclaw robes asked. He must've figured out who I was behind the disguise.

"Yes? Who's asking?"

He sat down next to me and smashed his lips quite uncomfortably against mine. He wouldn't let me go, although I kept trying to wiggle free. I hated this. Every second of it. He tasted like fish and betrayal.

"Alex?"

My eyes widened and I used all my strength to push the stranger away from me. It was too late, I knew John had seen.

"John, I-"

His expression was filled with sadness. He shook his head back and forth in disbelief. "I'm so dumb."

The person that kissed me was gone. It was just me, John, and the rest of The Three Broomsticks.

It was the worst possible time for him to come out of the bathroom. If only I had a few more seconds...

"No-"

"I'm so stupid to think that you were a good person. No one ever is." He started crying silently, the tears rolling down his face like rain on a window. Everyone in the pub stared at us, awaiting my reaction.

"I don't want to talk to you, see you, or hear your fucking voice ever again." he was serious. I felt so helpless, so out of control. He thought that I cheated on him.

"J-John! I'm sorry! This wasn't-" I tried to move towards him, to try and explain what really happened. He pointed his wand at my feet, and I knew I wasn't getting any closer.
