Chapter 37

TimeSkip: 5 Weeks Later
Kenma's Pov:

Kuroo was holding me on the couch. I was 10 weeks and 3 days today and Kuroo was being extra overprotective. I didn't have that feeling I did the first time I was pregnant. And I am started to call him by his first name. Earlier this week we went to the doctor and got an ultrasound. While he was holding me I felt myself need to pee. 

"Ku- Tetsuro... I have to use the bathroom."

"Alright."

"Alone!"

"But-"

"I can't pee with you right beside me idiot!"

"Find just come back."

"Hmph."

I got up and used the bathroom. I was feeling nauseas all day but I didn't throw up so I was just feeling like crap. I laid back down on Kuroo and he sighed.

"T-the first time, I just felt weird but now I feel like shit."

"I guess that's better."

"You guess, you asshole!"

"No- no that's not what I meant... I'm sorry."

"Shut up."

He sighed and patted my head. I fell asleep and felt him petting my hair. When I woke up I used the bathroom. Kuroo was sleeping and I yawned. I woke him up and Kuroo looked at me concerned. 

"What's wrong?"

"I-I'm hungry."

"What do you want to eat?"

"McDonalds."

"Okay, we can get go McDonalds."

"Ew no just have it house delivered."

"If they eat your food don't be mad."

"They won't."

He ordered McDonalds and I looked threw some movies. I hummed and picked Beauty and the Beast to watch. I started the movie and Kuroo went to the kitchen. I got up and saw he was feeding Brownie and Caramel.

"Ku- Tetsuro next week I want to tell our parents."

"Alright. How are you going to tell them?"

"The same way I told you but like a strawberry or something."

"But the baby will be as big as a lime I think."

"Oh. Then a lime."

"I guess we'll do it then."

TimeSkip: 4 Days Later

Kuroo drove to my mother's house first. I was now 11 weeks and I was nervous since we really didn't tell my mother we were even dating, or got engage. When we got there I knocked on the door. It took a while for my mother to answer and she smiled. 

"Oh my goodness, I haven't seen you two in years. Come in, come in."

We walked inside and I sat on the couch. Kuroo sat down beside me. She made us both some tea then sat on the couch across from us. 

"How have you two been?"

"We've been well." I said. My mother smiled then nodded and she looked at my ring. 

"Oh gosh that ring is just beautiful, where'd you get it?"

I looked at Kuroo and he smiled. He sat up and put his tea on the coffee table in between the two couches. 

"I proposed to Kenma a while ago Ms. Kozume."

"Oh that is just sweet. I don't even remember you two dating. And I've told you not to be so formal."

"Right sorry sorry."

I got up and went to my old bedroom. I had a bag with a lime in it in my bag. I looked around feeling the nostalgia. Kuroo came up behind me. He took a deep breath and looked at the room also.

"This room has many memories."

"I know."

"Are you ready to tell her."

"Yeah."

My mom was in the kitchen and I took out the bag with the lime in it. 

"Mother please sit down we have something to tell you."

"Alright alright."

I handed her the lime and she looked at me confused. Kuroo was smirking and I pouted at him then looked back at my mom.

"A lime? Y'all two are so weird giving me a random lime."

"No mom the lime means something."

"What?"

"That lime is the size of our baby."

"Small baby... wait- oh lord are you pregnant?"

"Yes."

"Oh my goodness give me a hug child."

She got up and gave me a hug. She looked at Kuroo and glared at him. My mother was also an alpha so she was basically intimating him. I stuck my tongue out at him and he pouted. I told my mother about my pregnancy before and she gave me encouraging words. She asked questions on the medicine I was taking and how I was feeling. 

"Well you guys better get going. I'm sure you have other people to tell."

"Alright, bye mom love you."

"Love you too."

We left then walked down the block. We visited the park we used to play at a lot. We then went to Kuroo's mom's house. I gave him the bag with the lime and he put it in his pocket. Kuroo opened the door with a key. Is mother was watching T.V."

"Oh my... is that my son and my son's fiancé?"

"Hey ma."

"Hello." I said.

"Come sit down and talk to me."

We sat beside her and I looked at Kuroo. She started talking about her day and we just listened. Kuroo's mom was older than my mom so she was probably going to be a lot harder to tell her. 

"Ma, we have something to give you."

"Oh... well what is it?"

Kuroo handed her a the bag with the lime. She smiled and opened the bag.

"Are you guys making me some guacamole?

"No, no the lime means something."

"A lime means something? Now I told both of you to stay away from dru-"

"No ma."

"Well what does this lime mean then."

"It's the size of our baby."

"This lime is the size of your baby? Oh my goodness, Kenma are you pregnant?"

I nodded and she smiled warmly. I walked over to her and she put her hand over my stomach. Omega parents often do that to their child if they are pregnant. We kept talking about the baby and she made sure I was alright. 

By the end of the day I was tired as hell. We picked up food before we got home and I threw up immidieatly when we got there. I threw up in the kitchen sink, Kuroo tied my hair back and I wiped my mouth. I turned on the water and Kuroo turned on the garbage disposal. He picked me up and carried me to the bathroom.
