Kaoru's Pov: 

"Here you go Toasty." 

"Toasty? Please don't tell me you named our cat Toasty?"

"I did and what are you going to do about it."

"Smile and nod."

"Good."

I petted Toasty and fed him. I was up all night taking pictures of him. I didn't expect Hikaru to actually buy us a cat. I watched Toasty eat his breakfast. Hikaru helped me up from the floor and I looked at him confused.

"What?"

"Nothing,"

"You're acting weird?"

"I'm just giving you a hug."

"Weird~" 

He let go of me and I looked at him weirdly. He walked to the couch and started looking at some papers. I'm guessing for Toasty. I sat beside him as he filled out some files. I looked at them with him. 

"Wassup?"

"How old is Toasty?"

"He's about 2 months old."

"When did you even think about getting him."

"Well when we had that pregnancy scare and you said you were sad, my mom said you just needed something to take care of, so I looked into cats."

"Awww you're so sweet~"

"Sweet enough to get a kiss"

"Mhm."

I kissed his cheek and he pouted at me. 

"Gasp, not in front of the kitten."

He grabbed my chin in then he gave me a peck. He then continued to look at the files. I watched Toasty smell everything and jump on things. He made his way over here. He jumped on the couch and curled up in a ball in my lap. I petted him and he started purring. 

"Well Toasty seems comfy."

"Who's purring do you like more?"

"Yours of course."

"What makes my purring so special."

"You only purr around me."

"No I don't-"

"And you purr after we have-"

"OKAY!"

"Shh you'll wake up Toasty."

I huffed and Hikaru continued to fill out the files. We watched a movie when he was finished. Out of nowhere I felt a liquid on my legs. I picked up Toasty to find that he peed on my leg. I groaned and put him down on the floor. Hikaru snickered. 

"WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING!?"

"I-I'm not l-laughing,"

"YOU ASSHOLE, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME HE WASN'T POTTYTRAINED."

"I thought it was simple."

"HIKARU HE PEED ON THE COUCH."

"Woops."
