Chapter 41

TimeSkip: 3 weeks later
Kenma's Pov

Kuroo had no idea I went to the doctor today. He was busy getting a realtor ready so we can go visit the houses we were looking at on his phone. I got the gender of the baby today. Shoyo went with me so I just made the excuse that I was hanging out with Shoyo. He was 7 months or 29 weeks and his baby was kicking. It almost seemed like the little boy in there was taking Shoyo's energy since his baby was always bouncing around and Shoyo was tired a lot. After the doctor's appointment we went out for lunch.

"Awww."

"What's the gender?"

"I can't tell you Kenma!"

"Dang it."

"I'll give it to you but tell me when you find out with Kuroo."

"Alright. I will."

"Hmmm I told you getting this burrito bowl was a good idea."

"Yeah it's good. Hey Shoyo what are you going to name your baby?

"I think we should name him Hikaru but Kags thinks we should name him Naito."

"Kageyama Naito or Kageyama Hikaru?"

"Gah- don't say that like were married!"

"Right. Right."

"What about you?"

"Kuroo started coming up with names like a week ago. Um I really liked Kiyoshi or Karou."

"Both K names."

"Yeah lol."

"Are you going to get married before or after the baby is born?"

"I think afterwards, Kuroo has mentioned that if we have a girl he'd want her to be the flower girl."

"Awww, that's cute."

"Yeah." 

When we finished eating he handed me the envelope. Kageyama picked up Hinata and Kuroo picked me up. I hid the envelope and he parked in some weird driveway. We met up with a realtor and she showed us around the house. I still liked the other house more than this one. 

"So kitten what do you think?"

"I wanna see the other one."

"Same this one wasn't as good as I thought it was."

"Then let's go."

We kept looking around then we left. We followed the realtor to the other house. I looked inside the other house and I loved it. I continued to look around and Kuroo hummed. 

"I like this one!"

"Yeah I do too."

After an hour, we bought the house. We drove home and I took a deep breath. He sat on the couch and I sat beside him. I leaned on his shoulder and he put his hand over me. 

"Are you alright Kitten?"

"Mhm."

"I forgot to ask you how was hanging out with Shoyo?"

"Oh, it went well."

"What did you two do, that went so well."

"We went to the doctor, and we went out to lunch."

"The doctor?"

"Yeah to find out the gender of the baby."

"Right! Shit! I forgot about thattt I'm so sorry kitten~!"

"It's fine. Only Shoyo know he wanted me to find out with you."

I grabbed the envelope and he smirked. I felt a sense of nervousness go through me. When he opened it, he read it and smiled. He put the envelope down and looked at my stomach. He had tears in his eyes and I looked at him confused.

"So... w-what is it?"

"It's a boy."

"Wow you got it right!"

"I know... fuck I'm so happy."

"I thought it was a girl... haha"

"Aww did you want a little girl, kitten?"

"Yeah..."

"Aww it's okay."

"Did you want a boy?"

"I wanted a little girl too but I'm more happy with whatever."

"Tch. You're too sappy."

"Says you, you have tears going down your cheek."

"You do too!!"

He gave me a kiss and I smiled. He turned me around and I sat in his lap. He hugged my waist and put his hands over my stomach. I rolled my eyes and put my tongue out at him. He snickered and I picked a movie and we fell asleep like that.
