Chapter 89

TimeSkip: 4 Months Later
Kaoru's Pov:

I smiled tiredly as mom held Haruhi. After 12 hours of hard labor, I finally gave birth to our baby girl Haruhi. She had black hair and brown eyes. I dreamed wondering about all the things I could do with our baby girl. Midori was surprisingly really gently with Haruhi. Midori gave her back to me and I let her feed again. 

They all left maybe an hour or two later. The doctor made sure Haruhi was alright. Her birthday was December 9th. Hikaru was holding her close and I swear he cried more than me. 

Three days later when we got home we put her in her crib. She fell asleep and I did also. Hikaru was looking over he basically staring at her while she slept. I woke up to screaming baby. They should really make this an alarm clock setting. I woke up and fed her. I ended up getting a C-section since I didn't want to end up dead for 12 minutes. Hikaru burped her and she kept crying. 

He changed her diaper and I realized that Haruhi was going to be a daddy's girl. Hikaru cooked me some egg fried rice, so I would have something in my system. He got me some water and I smiled at him.

"Hikaru... you're going to be such an overprotective dad."

"I am not."

"You totally are. You're already hovering over her and she was born 3 days ago."

"Lies."

"I'm serious don't be too overprotective."

"I won't."

I kissed him and he smiled. I sighed and lifted my shirt. 

"It looks weird."

"No it doesn't, I think it looks lovely."

"Of course you would say that."

"I'm serious, the perfect reminder of how my daughter was born."

"Our."

"Our."

"I love you buttshot."

"I love you boke,"
