Chapter 47

TimeSkip: 3 weeks later
Kenma's Pov:

I woke up to crying. I didn't see Kuroo, so I assumed he was tending to Kaoru. I got to go to the nursery and I didn't see either of them. A huge anxiety rush came towards me, I was still sore from birth so I couldn't run. But I went to the kitchen and I saw Kuroo feeding Kaoru. Brownie was there wagging his tail looking up at Kaoru.

"Hm? Oh Kitten go back to sleep I got him."

"Have you've been up all night?"

"No I woke up an hour ago."

"Oh."

"Go back to sleep."

"... Okay."

I grabbed a bottle of water and went back to the bedroom. I didn't get to go back to sleep, so I just watched T.V. Kuroo came back into the room, he yawned and I looked at him.

"Why aren't you sleeping?"

"I couldn't go back to sleep."

He took off his shirt and put on a another one. He sat down next to be and I laid on his shoulder. 

"How you feeling kitten."

"Tired... did he throw up on you?"

"A little but he's fine."

Brownie and Caramel came into the room. Caramel laid in my lap and Brownie laid on the floor beside Kuroo. I reached over to my laptop. Kuroo took THOUSANDS of videos of me and Kaoru. So I posted some on my Instagram. Kuroo pouted and shut my laptop. 

"I was just going to watch YouTube?"

"No. I want you to get some sleep, it's been a long three weeks."

"I know~ but I can't fall asleep right now."

"At least lay down."

"I can't, my ass hurts."

"You're the one who didn't want to get a c-section."

"My stomach would've looked weird."

"I think you would've looked fine."

"That's because you love me."

"Yep! But I still think you should've gotten a c-section it would've been less life threating."

"I said sorry."

"You've been in to many near death experiences."

"Maybe... but I'm fine."

I got up and walked to the nursery. I looked at Kaoru just laying there. He looked at me and I smiled. 

"Hi."

"Are you not sleepy either."

I looked out the window seeing the sun was coming up. I picked him up. He doesn't cry that much. Only when his diaper is full, he's hungry, something hurts, giving him a bath, or changing his clothes. I carried him to the kitchen as I made myself some tea. I heard him start crying and I checked his diaper. Once my tea was done, I let it cool down and I changed him. He kept crying which was a little normal, but eventually stopped. I put him in his crib and got his clothes ready for a walk. 

"Kitten...?"

"Yeah?"

"Are you going out on the walk right now?"

"I'm about to."

"Oh alright."

He put on some pants and I put some clothes on. I took a deep breath and clothes Kaoru. He was crying the whole time. I decided to hold him for the walk. Kuroo was by the door, he had Brownie on a leash. We went on a walk and Kaoru fell asleep on my shoulder. I rolled my eyes and we stopped so Brownie could poop. 

When we got home I gave Kaoru to Kuroo. I fed Caramel and Brownie. I heard my phone ring and saw that it was Shoyo.  

"Hello?"

"Hey Kenma!"

"Hey Shoyo how are you?"

"I'm good."

I got a picture of Hikaru from Shoyo and I awed. I put my camera on and showed Kaoru sleeping.

"We should meet up, I haven't seen you and like 3 months."

"Sure, maybe in like a week."

"Yeah of course."
