Chapter 40

TimeSkip: 2 weeks later
Kenma's Pov:

I checked my Instagram as I ate my yogurt. I just posted that I was pregnant on my Instagram. I was 18 weeks today. I looked at the time seeing it was 11 am. Kuroo left for practice early since he had a game today. It was at 2 pm and I got dressed. I fed Caramel and Brownie. I walked Brownie afterwards and I grabbed my phone. I saw that Shoyo texted me saying he was in Tokyo for the same game I assume and he asked me to go with him. He was 26 weeks. 

Text Messages:

Hinata: Hey Kenmaa I'm in Tokyo for a volleyball game

Kenma: I'm going to a volleyball game too?

Hinata: Gasp are you going to the spring games too?"

Kenma: Yeah Kuroo's playing today

Hinata: Kageyama's playing tomorrow but he wanted to see the cOmPeTiTioN

Kenma: Lol wanna go together?

Hinata: Yeah Kags is gonna be there with me is that alright?

Kenma: Sure, I'm on my way now are we just meeting at the front?

Hinata: Yeah we're almost there now!

Kenma: Oh okay 

I left the house and locked my front door. I started walking and my feet started hurting a mile of the way there. As I got closer to the building I saw Shoyo and Kageyama. Shoyo was waving at me and I waved back. Kuroo didn't know I was going to be here so I just wanted to surprise him. We walked around and I saw the ONE person I didn't want to see while I was pregnant. Daishou. I tried to walk so he wouldn't notice me, but that of course didn't work.

"Ohh Kenma just the person I wanted to see today."

"..."

"Aww not talking to an old friend."

I rolled my eyes and we kept walking. He was following me and I got annoyed real quick. 

"Leave me alone Daishou."

"Is that a baby bump oh haha I thought you were just getting fat."

Hinata turned around at the sound of what he said. I was blushing and I looked down. Kageyama got in front of the mad tangerine. 

"Leave us alone,"

"Oh you're not Kuroo. That is just a shame."

Kageyama got ready to slap him and Hinata held him back. I started walking towards the opening where Kuroo was playing. I saw his team stretching and saw him talking to his coach. Hinata looked at me then looked inside the doors too. I looked back and saw Daishou staring at me. I looked back at Kuroo's team and he was smirking at me. He walked towards me and I smiled.

"Kenma I didn't think you would come."

"I know... I didn't come to your last game so I decided to come to this one."

"Well I'll be sure to do better than last time then."

"As you should."

"Why is Daishou looking at you?"

"Don't know, go beat him up!"

"I can't~ everyone is looking~"

"Aw."

He kissed my forehead and went back into his gym. We went into the stand, and sat down. We saw Koshi and Keiji with their kids, Itome, Itsuki, Yuna, and Haru all sitting together. We sat beside them and we all caught up.

TimeSkip: 4 hours later

Kuroo's team won so he was going to play tomorrow. I loved seeing Keiji and Koshi's kids so excited to see people playing volleyball. Kuroo stayed with his team to celebrate. I said goodbye to Shoyo and Kageyama. I started walking back home, Kuroo definitely owed me a foot massage now. I regretted not taking the offer to ride in the car with Shoyo so that they could take me home now. As I kept walking I heard footsteps. I slowed down to make sure that they were my footsteps and they weren't. I started breathing heavily. I looked behind me and I saw that ugly puke green hair behind me. I stopped and turned around.

"Why are you following me?"

"It's just such a shame you have another alpha protecting you."

"That was different."

"Different? Come on Kenma why won't you tell him about us?"

"There's nothing between us anymore."

"Aww I feel hurt that you don't feel love for me anymore."

"Just what do you want?"

"I want you back."

"Well I don't want you so..."

I turned around and started walking. He ran up to me and pinned me to a wall. It was softly but I whined and looked up at him. 

"Let go of me!"

"No I missed you."

"Y-you're hurting me."

"It's not like this is real pain... having your heart broken is real pain babe."

"Don't call me that! A-and let me go!"

"Oh is that why you aren't calming down... you're mark already."

"P-please... l-let me go."

I started kicking him and he didn't budge. I smelled Kuroo's smell then I closed my eyes. I opened them in Kuroo's arms and I hugged him. I saw Daishou on the ground behind him and I glanced up at Kuroo's face. He was crying.

"Kuroo? Why are you crying?"

"Just be quiet please."

"Oh... okay"

I gulped and laid my head down on his shoulder. He walked us home and unlocked the door. He put me down on the couch and walked Brownie. I calmed down and I put my hand on my stomach. When Kuroo came back he grabbed a water bottle and sat next to me.

"When were you dating Daishou."

"3rd year in high school... i-it was only for a year, I guess he took advantage of you not being there,"

"...How did you two start dating?"

"Um when I would walk home from uh school he would just linger and talk to me while I was playing my game... I ignored him most of the time... then he asked me out and I just said yes." 

"Did you guys go far?"

"Yeah... he- um was my first time."

"Oh... I mean you're having my child so I don't care anymore then."

"Y-yeah... so you're not mad right?"

"No,"

"Good now please give me a foot massage."

"Okay okay."
