Chapter 62

TimeSkip: 2 Years Later
Kaoru's Pov:

"Hikaru wait up~"

Kazumi and I ran up to Hikaru. We all walked to school together. We all got to class and I met up with Aoi and Chiyo. After school I walked to volleyball practice with Hikaru. We were both 2nd years and we played volleyball on the same team. We walked into the gym and put our bags down. I was the main setter, and Hikaru was the ace of our team. We all started stretching and then we started practice. 

Hikaru has a lot of nicknames people call him like The Prince of the Court since his father was the king of the court and The Monster Breed since everyone called his parents monster when they played volleyball. He had high stamina like his parents, he wasn't as short as his mom, in fact he was a little taller than me. I was 5'7 and he was 5'9. He had speed and could jump high like his mother too. He had a power, speed, and stamina, but he lacked both of their observant trait. We're also both very introverted.

I on the other hand didn't have a lot of nicknames just one The Ace Guide but it wasn't that great, but instead I had a lot of warnings. For example, don't think just play around him. I had my dad's highly observant and intuitive nature. But I also had my mom's analytical personally. I had low power but high speed and stamina. 

People say our famous thing was like our look. We have a habit of looking at a hard opponent at the same time in a scary way. It was never intentional, in fact when we were younger if there was a person we both didn't like we would just stare at them disgustedly. 

After practice we walked home as usual. Kazumi usually doesn't wait up for me when I have practice so I always enjoyed walking home.

"You missed too many sets today,"

"I don't think I was in a good mine set, I've been so worried about if I don't get my grade up I can't go to the training camp in two weeks."

"Well duh."

"Math sucks."

"Well if you stopped sleeping in her class maybe you'd pass, you buttshot!"

"Not my fault she speaks so monotone!"

"At least get the notes of a friend."

"I tried to but that boke just bullied me for falling asleep."

"As he should."

He pouted then we both giggled. I gave him my math notes and he thanked me. I got home and took a shower. I ate dinner, did my homework, and talked to my parents about school. I laid down on my bed. Thoughts started to fill my head and I sighed.

I'm pretty sure we both knew about our feelings for each other. Unless he was really really dense. I just loved his wavy blue hair and brown eyes, and his build. Aoi and Chiyo easily picked up on the fact I liked him. We all kind of grew up together when Hikaru moved to Tokyo. Aoi was an alpha and Chiyo was a beta. 

I personally think it's super embarrassing how I haven't gotten my first kiss either. I was just a wreck apart from volleyball. I yawned and picked up my phone to say good night to Hikaru, but it seemed he had already beat me to it.
