Chapter 80

TimeSkip: The Next Day
Kaoru's Pov:

I yawned as I woke up. I looked around not seeing Hikaru. Toasty was laying in between my legs. I felt a little bit better. But I was still very sore. I sat up slowly. 

"HIKARU!!"  Hikaru came running into the room. 

"Are you okay?"

"Mhm... good morning,"

"Good morning babe. How are you feeling?"

"Still sore... but I'm alright."

"I made you breakfast." 

"Awww thank you~!"

He left the room and I'm guessing he fed Toasty cause he got up and started running. I giggled and sighed. I would usually take a morning after pill directly after we did it, but the amount he came into me, and how late I took a pill afterwards was very worrying to me. But it wasn't at the same time. I sighed again and Hikaru came into the room with a plate. 

I smiled at him and he put the plate on my lap. He cooked waffles, sausages, and eggs. With the perfect amount of cheese. I made sure the sausages were cooked fully. I started eating and Hikaru sat down beside me. I can see he felt bad at what happened yesterday. 

"You look worried... what's wrong?"

"I still feel bad... are you sure you don't need to go to a doctor."

"Hikaru... I'll be fine."

"You're bruised though."

"It'll heal. Really I'm fine."

I leaned forward and hugged him. I finished eating and Hikaru took the plate. He gave me some toys and I started to play with Toasty. After Toasty was burned out, I grabbed my laptop and started binge watching Dorohedoro. Toasty was knocked out on my lap. Since I was way to sore to go to practice today like usual Hikaru had to go alone. After I finished Dorohedoro, I decided to go get a snack. I put my laptop to the side and Toasty got up. I gulped and slowly made my way to the kitchen. 

I fed Toasty and gave him some water. I went to the bathroom and saw that Hikaru already cleaned his litter box. I took a supplement and brushed my teeth. I went back to the kitchen and I got some yogurt. My father loved to joke around with my obsession for yogurt. He would say Mom had the same obsession but I never saw Mom eat yogurt. 

I grabbed a muffin and some chips. I also grabbed 3 juice boxes and went back to the bedroom. I sat down again and looked for a new anime to watch. Instead I found this manga called Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro. I started reading while eating my snacks. When Hikaru came home he looked at me and chuckled. 

"You look like a slob."

"Well hello to you to then."

"What are you doing?"

"I'm reading manga."

"What manga?"

"See you asked me that last time, and remember what the answer was?" 

"Don't tell me you're reading that again."

"I'm not."

He looked at my computer and I scoffed. I chewed on my straw and he kissed my forehead.

"How you feeling?"

"Better actually. I walked a little bit today."

"I'm glad."

I yawned and he collected all my trash. Toasty followed, Hikaru to the kitchen. I closed my laptop and put it on the charger. I got up slowly and walked to Hikaru. He had started cooking and I yawned again. 

"Kaoru...?"

"Yeah?"

"Did you want spicy chicken or mild?"

"The real question is, if I wanted you to cook my chicken."

"I actually think your stomach is just weak."

"How rude."

"But don't worry, I'm frying it."

"Spicy."

"Alright."
