All of their minds raced with similar questions, “What would this journey hold for them?”, and each had their own worries about this mission. It was a rather odd request, after all they were only children in the eyes of the world. By the time they had come to meet in the town forum, they had their bags full of supplies, except Admin, who had nothing other than a bag of paper, ink, pens, and graphite. Charles took a map out of a strap in his armor, and he showed it to the group while pointing towards the west. “We’ll start in the west, and then go to the north, east, south, and then back to the palace. We’ll gather as much information as we can in each lands main city, and then fix the problems there, unless a bigger problem than the one we’re already facing.” The group listened carefully to his words, memorizing the littlest of details. “So, does anyone have a good way of getting around the country quickly?” They looked at each other nervously, for that exactly hadn’t come to mind when gathering for supplies. Lilly Belle, the dragonborn, raised her hand timidly. “I know some, uhm, giant moths that could help.” Everyone looked at her with incredulous looks, before Charles broke the silence with a laugh, it died out after he realized she was serious. The small girl called Rose suggested “Maybe we could try a caravan?” she said, almost second guessing herself. “We also may want to try going through the forests to avoid detection, I know the land very well so that might be of use.” The whole while she was speaking, she hadn’t once made eye contact with the others. Nicklaus spoke up, “I think it’s a great idea.” The others agreed, nodding their heads slowly. The girl raised her head and gave a light smile to the others, that was the first time they had seen her eyes clearly. A smokey, dull shade of blue filled with sad memories that none of them dared to question her of. Then they were gone as she lowered her head once more, allowing her bangs to shield those strange eyes.

Snow broke the silence by saying “So, I guess the first job is get a caravan.” Her black and white hair spilling off her shoulders, fading into her black dress. “I think I know somebody who may be willing to help.” said Charles as he ran his fingers through his shaggy light-brown hair. “It’s not that far from here, just in the middle of the city. We should be able to get the caravan and be out long before sundown.” Kaza interrupted, “We should all look over our supplies on the way, make sure we have everything we need.” Everyone agreed and began to head toward the heart of the city. This was the capital, the most lively of them all, energy always circulating through its veins. No matter where you went something was always going on. These streets affected them all in different ways, Charles with his nobility was quite used to the heavily populated towns. Kaza was able to fade, to move with the crowd without being seen and that became useful to her. Nicklaus was adapt to being surrounded by people with powers, people like him. Lilly Belle came from a small village, she didn’t know what to make of the large city. Mila Rose had lived in the forest her whole life, however she had been into the capital many times before, still, being around so many people made her uneasy. Snow was isolated on a mountain with her family for years, mediums were rare and aren’t given their powers from blood like most magical beings do. Her family knew nothing of her magic, only that it was considered a dark power, so they tucked her away. For Admin it was nothing, like he was the only one there, everyone disappeared as they went by. People of all races and ethnicities passed the group that seemed to stand almost as much as speck of hair on milk.
