Later, around the campfire, the questers sat in silence. None of them had anything to say. They weren’t sure what to do now that Rose was missing.
Finally, Lily Belle spoke up. “We have two obvious choices. We can abandon our quest, shame our king, and die trying to save Rose, or, we can continue on to Alenesu and finish our quest. We all know what Rose would want us to do. We need to go onward, meet Kaza’s contact, and save the kingdom from The Weght. What do all of you say?” Everyone was stunned by Lily’s speech, and one by one, they nodded in agreement with her. “To Alenesu. For Rose.” Charles said solemnly. “To Alenesu. For Rose.” They all repeated.

“We should all get some sleep.” Snow said. “It’s been a long day for all of us.” They all went to sleep, huddled together in the caravan, missing Rose.

“We are only a few hours travel from Alenesu.” Charles announced from the front of the caravan. “The ball isn’t until next week. That means we have a few days to snoop around and generally enjoy ourselves.” Said Nicklaus, looking at Kaza from the corner of his eye. Snow snorted water out of her nose, and she and Admin began to laugh at the sight of Nicklaus’s face, which was tomato red. “Careful, he might turn you into something foul!” Said Lily Belle, joining in on the laughter.

The musty smell of the dark room invaded my nostrils. Chains swayed on the rock walls, its gray walls gave a foul odor, like rotting corpses with blood everywhere. There was a small window directly across me that gave little sunlight. The questions I thought was mostly Where the hell am I? How did I get here? Where is the group? As Rose was pondering those questions, a buff brute with a black stubble and dreadlocks entered from Rose’s right. “Who.... Who the hell are you!? Where am I!?” Rose furiously asked. The mystery guy had a deep voice and replied “My name will have no use for you, as where you are, lets just say there is a ball happening in one week from now. Anyway let’s ignore that and have some…fun.” The man had a large wooden club, he swung at Rose. Rose struggled and parried the man despite being chained to a wall. “Goddamn it girl just stay still!!” He left as he was, stating he wasn’t done with her.

Meanwhile, in the caravan, Nicklaus and Kaza were in the front, Lily and Charles were planning what to do at the ball, and Snow was trying to wake Admin up again. She gave up after 10 attempts. Lily was curious what a medium did, so she asked Snow. Snow said that she can ask spirits to find shit for her.

“Wait Snow! You can ask the spirits to find Rose!” Charles screeched.

“Oh my god Charles!! You’re right for once!!!” She cried.

Snow stole one of Admin’s quills and drew a pentagram (A five pointed star in a circle) on the ground and chanted inaudible words. Her eyes rolled back into her skull, so that only see the white of her eyes. After a while she returned to normal and she was speaking to nothing that Lily and Charles could see, but really she was talking to ghosts! She told them to scour the land to try to find Rose. The spirits departed from Snow and into the forest, but one went to Alenesu, because it thought to check there.

It was silent until Charles suggested with the two days they will have in Alenesu, that they should look for signs for Rose. They all agreed. The town of Pori came into view.

It was a gigantic city big stone wall and an enormous black castle.

“If we’re gonna search this area, we’ll need to split up.” Lily said. The group grunted in response. They were nearing the front gate when they were stopped by bandits. Admin complained to let him sleep and drew an enormous sword and threatened to spank them if they didn’t move. Let’s just say they were left in peace for a while.

Once in the city, they split up. Charles went into the weapons shop, to replace his sword. Kaza went to the marketplace to replenish the food stocks. Lily and Snow went to the east of the city, to gather information about the ball. Admin volunteered to stay with the caravan, and Nicklaus went to the library for books.
