In addition to the news of the Weght hideout, Kaza and Nicklaus learned about its members. Dimitre asked Nicklaus to leave for a bit, he wanted to tell Kaza about her father.
“Okie dokie” Nicklaus said stupidly while wavering. He went right back to the bar to drown himself in ale.
“Your friend’s an idiot, Kaza.” Dimitre sighed.
“Yeah, but he’s my idiot.” Kaza said defensively.
“Anyway, about the Weght… and their connection to your father…”
Nicklaus stumbled back to bar, humming Dragons be Raring to himself. Several nobles and servants gave him odd looks, they must be spies, Nicklaus thought to himself. His head hurt, and he was having trouble walking.
“I think I should find Charles.” He slurred, as the floor rushed up to meet him.
“What are you doing?! Stay the hell away from me!” I screeched. What’s he going to do to me?! He wasn’t responding...just smiling. Stop smiling! That horrible smile...just stop! I don’t deserve this. Is this your doing mother?! Have I failed you? Are you ashamed of your horrid child?! Are you frightened of me? Father please make her stop! You don’t hate me too, do you?! Please forgive me! I didn’t mean to! I’m so sorry! I struggled to escape his grasp, but there wasn’t anything I could do. He teared my clothes until there wasn’t any cloth left, only skin, which I tried to cover with my knees. The bastard thought it was amusing “Ahh, are we being being shy little flower? You don’t have to be scared around me. I only want to help you, I want to show you what love can truly be!” he spoke with a sadistic passion. This man is sick! He’s crazy, I need to get out but I can’t! My eyes grew wide with a mix of hatred and terror as he inched closer to me. “Why are you doing this to me?! I have done nothing!” I cried. Wait..he’s laughing? What’s so damn funny. “Oh my dear, I think we both know that’s a lie.” What does he mean?! The next thing I know I’m struggling, he got so annoyed by my constant movement he decided to make it easier for me… All I could see was black, I wasn’t there… I was in my home, I was with my group, and yet I knew behind my memories my body was alive, and I knew what was being done. By the goddesses forgive me, I know this is you punishing me.
“Is he dead?” Admin said, bending over Nicklaus’s limp form.
“I don’t think so. Just one too many ales,” Charles laughed. “Let’s get his ass out of here before too many questions are asked.”
They each grabbed one of his arms and started pulling.
Elsewhere in the castle, Lily and Snow were deep in conversation with a pair of men from the kingdom of Birn.
“So,” Snow said, batting her eyes slowly, “You knew Discord? That’s soo amazing! You must be very brave. Right, Lily?”
“Yes, very.” Lily choked out.
“Now, now, girls. Don’t get too excited. You must save your energy..for later.” One of the men said. Lily did her best to not vomit on his breastplate.
“Oooh! So exciting!” Snow gushed, elbowing Lily’s side. “We are thirsty. Would two you be so kind as to get us frothy-whipped, cream topped, frozen, virgin alabastards?”
“We would be honored, fair lady,” said the second man, mock bowing. “And maybe after she’s gone through a few pints,” The first man whispered to Snow, “Your friend will have loosened up a bit, if you get my drift.” He winked.
“Hahaha.” She said. The men left, probably wondering what virgin alabastards were. Snow had made them up, but she didn’t really care. She and Lily had just needed time to discuss their plan.
“Thank the dragons those two are gone.” Lily burst out. “If I had to sit here for one more second, smelling their onion breath, I was going to literally die. Or violently murder them both.” Snow laughed at that.
“Come on, you need to loosen up. If we can’t get any information regarding Discord from these two, than this whole plan will have been for naught.” Snow scolded.
“We’re back! You two ladies miss us?” The first man chuckled, laying his hand on Lily’s waist.
“I don’t believe we ever caught your names.” She said, pushing back the urge to knock him unconscious.
“My name is Maurus, and this here is Hesse. We are the twin lords of the Middluns.” Maurus said.
“Well Maurus, you said that you personally knew Discord,” Snow said seductively, running her hand down his side. “I’m not sure I believe you. Many men have lied to get close to me, and I want proof that you aren’t just using me.” She finished, flashing him and Hesse her puppy-dog eyes.
“We know all the juicy gossip,” Hesse blurted, clearly excited. “There was one rumor, a while back, that Discord’s father, no one really knows who that is, had a second, illegitimate child with an innkeeper.”
“What was her name, Hesse, Fender? Felden? Fargo? I can’t remember exactly, but her mother was a rude one. I heard her inn burnt down a few weeks back.” Lily gasped, and elbowed Snow in the ribs, but Snow ignored her, intent on keeping her character till the end.
