The group waited until everyone who wasn’t staying the night left before making their way to the owner. Rose was sitting at the bar talking to a young girl, she was a working child that was plainly clear. Her clothes weren’t ratty, only dirty like her small porcelain face, her hair much shorter than the average girl in this kingdom. Rose and the girl seem to be getting along well, the girl has a beautiful smile. If the girl had a proper bath and clean clothes she may be mistaken for nobility. “Fendrel! Get your arse over here this instant!” yelled the owner who is presumably Maria. Fendrel gave Rose a quick apologetic look before running off toward the tense Maria.

Maria grabbed Fendrel by the chin and forced the child’s head up so they could look eye-to-eye. “I thought I told you to wash the dishes after closing? NOT chat up the customers.” Maria spoke with and angry tone.

Fendrel didn’t respond. “Oh so that’s how it’s gonna be? I don’t who YOU think you are but NO daughter of mine is gonna disrespect me like this. Now you get your arse back in that kitchen before I toss it out the door!” Maria barked. The girl quickly ran to the kitchen knowing full well how serious her mother was.

Maria made her way back to us and decided to show us up. The seven were the only ones staying the night. Once up the stairs several rooms could be seen. There was a long corridor that fit five rooms and a smaller corridor branching off to the right holding three rooms. “Now before you lot get to your rooms I have a few basic rules to go over. Now keep in mind this isn’t a whore-house, everyone gets their own room. Their will not be any sharing of rooms and certainly no late night visits. I have children whose bedroom is right under this floor and I’d prefer it if they do not wake up this morning asking what the bump sounds in the night were… Everyone clear?” they all nodded though slightly disgusted.
