"I don't see why you can't just forgive her!" Lily said to Nicklaus. Her hands flailed around as she continued, "She is our friend, I don't agree entirely with her methods, but that's not the point. Do you remember what she said before Discord possessed...Charles? She said that we can't turn on each other, no matter what. We are a team, Nicklaus, and if you can't put this behind you, maybe you are better off going home." She stormed away.
Oh Sicho, Goddess of Protection, why is this happening? I pray that you save me from this pain and suffering. Please protect me. I open my eyes, and shift my position against the wall. Pain wracks my body, flaring in my legs and side. Why must the man do this? I am already helpless. Why must he take away my dignity too? I sigh. Hopefully, Snow was able to track me with her spirits, and maybe they are all on the way to save me now. I can't give myself false hope. I must assume that I am alone. I must do this by myself. I must be alone.
"This is wonderful soup, by the way, who made it?" said the boy, shoveling it into his mouth."Kaz- the girl who ran away. She is our cook. And thief." Admin said, his voice cracking."Nevermind that. She'll be back." The boy laughed, licking his lips. "I don't believe I ever introduced my self. I am Adam, straight from Hell." He smiled, and did jazz hands."Oh, okay. Adam, my name is Snow, the one over there is Admin, that's Lily, the one hiding in the caravan, Kaza ran off, and Rose...Rose was captured." Snow said, sadness clouding her eyes when she said Rose's name.
Kaza stepped out from behind a tree, and sheepishly walked over to the fire."I figured you all would need more soup, so, I um, caught a rabbit." She said, holding up a gray furball. "Ah, see? I told you she'd come back." Adam said. "Kaza!" Snow said, leaping up to hug her. "I am so sorry. We all are.""It's fine. I knew exactly how you would react. I expected it." She said, her voice turning cold. "How was your cry under the willow, young thief?" Adam asked from the ground."How did you know that?" Kaza hissed, rounding on him. "Kaza!" Nicklaus said from the edge of the clearing. "Can I, um, talk to you for a minute?" Lily glared at him as they walked into the forest.
"I am so sorry," He said, his eyes downcast. "You are going to have to better than that, Nicklaus. You completely lost faith in me. I would never judge you or anyone here by their parents. Why would you do it?""I was hurt, Kaza. I was angry that you didn't tell us when you first met us.""When I first met you all, I thought my father had been a humble blacksmith who was killed in an incident involving pliers! I only found out recently. Dimitre told me, after you left.""I'm so sorry. I thought you had just chosen to never tell us.""I was going to tell you. I just didn't know when. It's hard to go from wishing you could see your father again, to wishing you were the one that killed him.""I see." Suddenly, Nicklaus stopped walking, and pulled Kaza into a bear hug, his arms engulfing her. 'Thank you." She whispered, tears falling down her cheeks.
"What do you mean it's my turn?" I asked. She gave an all too innocent laugh. "Well you still need some shaping up...but you're coming along nicely. I mean with the way you were in the tavern, that elvish man barely touched you and you were in tears *giggle*! I must say you caused quite an amusing scene." What is she trying to get at? "I still don't understand... Why am I here?!" Fendrel sighed and continued. "Look at you now, your emotions are almost dissipated. We are going to heal you sweetheart!" she gave me the most genuine smile. "How are all these vulgar things being done to me going to heal me?!" She responded as if it were the most natural thing in the world "We simply have to bring back the you that once was! You remember her don't you? The one of gave you your scars. You're breaking Rose, and soon the old you can be reborn." And with that she left, without another word.
