“Fendrel!” Lily called into the roaring flames, a beam of wood fell from somewhere to her right, bring the flames to a further uproar. She realised that Fendrel would not be able to be found. Lily rushed out of the flames and confronted Maria. “You have every reason to believe your daughter is dead.” Belle commented solemnly.

Maria rushed past Lily and into the flames. Snow held Rose back by her arms while she screamed wildly, “Maria!” Lily planned to confront Maria in the building and convince her that this was a suicide mission, but as she rushed forward the building collapsed into itself.

Embers flew into the dawn sky. Everyone inside was dead. Four in sum, the fire raged on, much more contained than before.

“Maria!” Rose sobbed and tears streamed down her face. Nicklaus detected no auras left in the tavern. The building stayed on fire for the rest of the morning.

“What happened here?!” Charles asked.  “There was a fire, and Maria, died with Fendrel.” Rose said solemnly.

“Let’s go get the caravan now.” Admin suggested. The group collected what was left of their supplies, including several food rations, rope, clothing, and some hygienic material. After going to the general market for their lost supplies, they made their way to the Caravan Service.
