The Unnamed Child

Snow and Lily stared at the child, so fragile and sweet, how could someone who looked so kind, do something this devastating? What happened to her that night that could completely twist her personality? But an even more confusing question appeared to Lily, one that needed an answer."Why her? Why would you take Rose and do all these horrible things to her?" Lily asked, giving Fendrel a look of horrid disgust. Fendrel gave them a joyous look, a devious glint in her eyes as she a breathed an adorable giggle."It seems like that girl is more sinister than I first thought, I suppose I underestimated her." Fendrel still had her innocent face but under that was not the girl we knew. She sighed with disappointment."What are you talking about?" Snow questioned"Well I suppose I don't blame her for not wishing to discuss a matter like this, it did to a sense destroy her entire way of life." Fendrel smiled"Tell us what you know!" Lily looked with fierce determination"Very well then, I suppose I don't have much choice in the matter. Take a seat, it's story time!" She giggled in excitement. She continued, "many years ago, in the Kingdom of Barazane, there lived a woman. She was not considered beautiful or very intelligent. She was a normal, plain girl. Except there was one thing that separated her from the others. She had a unique ability to move the earth around her, she wasn't a wizard or anything. She could do nothing else magical, only move the earth. It didn't take normal energy to do this, very much unlike the other magical beings around her. She became very strong with this ability and was praised for it, even given a title, the "Queen of Soil". No one else in the land could do something like this, she was the beginning of a whole new line of magical beings. The enchantress line was set into motion." Fendrel took a short pause to look at the looks plastered to the young adults' faces, utterly confused. "That girl's name was Aries, a name I assume you recognize. Some years later, the girl became a woman and bore two children, a boy and girl. As they grew Aries noticed something strange, her son had no magic at all, her daughter did. It wasn't the same as Aries's however, no, she could control the thread of our life, water. Aries decided that her new line needed a tradition, when a new enchantress was born the girl would not be given a name until the mother feels she is ready to control her powers without the help from the previous enchantress. When Aries decided her daughter was ready, she was given her true name, Rose. Rose was also loved and praised by the kingdom, she was the one who started a close agreement with the crown, this agreement is still unknown to me, I only know there is one. Rose was given the title "Lady of Seas" and she continued the same way her mother had. Married, two children, boy and girl, girl has powers, boy doesn't have powers. Rose's daughter had the ability to create and manipulate fire, when Rose deemed her worthy of a name she was called Mila. Mila fought for the kingdom in the war about twenty years ago, she was one of two keys to the kingdom's success. She married the second key, General David Magnus, he lead his troops in battle and was considered to be an amazing leader. I'm sure all of these names sound somewhat familiar. The two of them had two children, son and daughter, and this is where the perfect tradition falls to pieces. Unfortunately Mila died before she could name her daughter, and it has never been known what her power is. Based on all of the names I've told you I'm sure you've deduced who this unnamed child is. It's none-other than our precious sleepy head, the one you call 'Rose'." Fendrel finished while give them a gorgeous smile. "So, you're telling me that the girl we have been traveling with, the sweet, shy girl, is actually a powerful unknown being?" Lily asked"Sweetheart, that is precisely what I'm saying! And that's why we want her! Can you imagine how strong she is? I only wish I knew what her power is!""But wait! You said that her 'power' destroyed her life, what does that mean?" Snow asked. Fendrel gave another giggle."I'm very sorry, but it isn't in my place to tell you." Right after she said that Snow and Lily were attacked.

Meanwhile, Adam was fighting three brutes, Nicklaus was fighting the magician and two brutes, Kaza was fighting two brutes, while Admin was on the floor, still injured."Damn! Without my spear it's hard to kill these stupid mortals!""Shut up, Adam! Besides with all the crap I dropped in the corner, there's bound to be a spear!" Nicklaus yelled, blasting someone in the face with a blue aura."Ok I'll go check! Aha! 'Ere we go!"With a few kicks and a whack to the head, all three brutes were down for the count. They groaned, which Nicklaus found strange. This was the Gatekeeper to Hell, and he spared a few people like this, why? Adam helped out with Lily and Snow, and then Kaza. He was just everywhere, Nicklaus decided not to dwell on it.Nicklaus, on the other hand, was having a harder time defeating his horde of enemies. He knew he could easily kill the two non-wizards with a spell to snap their necks, but the wizard could easily deflect it. "This isn't good!" Nicklaus said to himself. He finally saw a flaw in the brutes moves and stabbed one in the heart, for a quick death, and stabbed one in the arm. He finished the brute off by slicing to the heart, still in the arm. Finally it was a duel between a wizard and a sorcerer. Nicklaus and the wizard knew using magic was risky, so they did a duel between minds. They just stood there and focused on the ground. Their consciousnesses collided in a loud boom in their heads. Nicklaus's mind was blue and the other wizard had an orange mind. They "exchanged blows" with their minds until the wizard barely showed a hint of hesitance, so Nicklaus took advantage of that and broke into the wizard's mind and made the wizard kill himself. Five more came out of nowhere and overtook Nicklaus by surprise. Meanwhile Kaza was having the easiest time killing her foes, because they got cocky thinking Kaza couldn't fight because she was a girl, and a human girl at that. The brutes had the biggest grins Kaza had ever saw! Kaza pulled her dagger out of its sheath and the men made a deep-gutted laugh, when they saw Kaza's weapon. During this distraction, Kaza took her dagger and slit the first brute's neck. The second recovered from his laughing and was clearly pissed. The brute pulled his sword and swung his sword, and it was clearly way too fast for Kaza to dodge. Out of nowhere Adam deflected the attack with his spear."I owe you one!" Kaza said under her breath.Adam grunted in agreement. The brute called for backup and three more came, one wizard."Shit! They have a wizard!" Adam cursed."Well let's have Nick..." Kaza began as she saw Nicklaus was busy, "Damn it!"They double teamed one easily and killed him and then took out the second as easy as the first. The real issue started when the wizard started casting spells. The spells were barely dodgeable, but Kaza and Adam dodged with finesse. When the two made it to the wizard, it was too late. "Liga eam in locum filii!" The wizard shouted and Kaza and Adam were frozen in place, they couldn't even twitch. Adam's shadows went crazy, apparently his struggle to break free. They knew they were beat.Rose has still been unnoticed and still asleep this whole time, and was almost like a doll, or mistaken for dead.Lily and Snow had a new types of enemies, dark magic creatures and summoners;they were losing the fight. Lily was able to summon mini dragons to fight the summoner's creatures, and transformed her hands into dragon claws that can shoot fire. Snow, on the other hand, summoned spirits to fight for her. The summoner started  to summon advanced creatures, like dire wolves. Dire wolves are giant wolves and could easily kill Lily's mini dragons, and banish Snow's spirits."Ok it's time to summon demons!" Snow yelled.Snow's energy decreased by a huge amount, because summoning a demon takes a decent amount of energy, and she summoned three. Snow didn't anticipate that the dire wolves would be smart, and they leaped up and she avoided one, but the other got it's jaw on her shoulder/neck and latched itself onto her, releasing a gush of wine red blood on her dress, and Snow released a shrill cry.
