"Ladies and gentlemen, for my final trick, I bring you the Cabinet of Mysteries." Vision says, dressed with a top hat and magic wand as he waves to the side of him towards the stairs. When nothing happens like he expects, he calls out to the hallway, "Darling, Mary, that's your cue." He says to his wife and her best friend.
"Did you say, Cabinet of Mysteries?" Wanda asks from the hallway.
"I said, The Cabinet of Mysteries." Vision says with flare.
"Oh! That's our cue!" Mary says and soon, she and Wanda push the Cabinet of Mysteries towards where Vision is in the living room.
"Holy Toledo!" Vision exclaims as he sees the Cabinet of Mysteries and then rushes to help the two ladies. "Darling, do all the other acts in the talent show have such elaborate props?" He asks.
Mary and Wanda walk out from behind the Cabinet of Mysteries and unamused expressions. "Are you kidding?" Mary asks.
"Fred and Linda are building a moat and a fully functioning portcullis and no one even knows why." Wanda quips and Mary nods in agreement.
Mary motions to the Cabinet of Mysteries and smiles, "Let's keep going." She says, excitedly.
Vision nods, "Yes, yes. Where was i? Uh..." he pauses then jumps back into his magician character, "Watch closely as I, Illusion, Master of Enigma, make my captivating assistant, Glamour, disappear while my other dazzling assistant, Starlight, aides me." He states and motions to both Wanda and Mary.
Wanda waves her arms out as she and Wanda gasp in shock for the act. Vision and Mary then open the cabinet doors for Wanda to step into. Wanda moves to step into the cabinet and winks at Vision. "You really are very dashing." She teases.
Vision smirks and winks back at his wife, "Mmm, thank you, darling." He says and he and Mary move to close the doors.
"Fear not, Glamour." Mary says to her friend in the act. Wanda feigns being scared and Vision turns to his wife to reassure her character.
"For I, Illusion, vow to bring you back exactly as you are." Vision says in character. Wanda and Mary shudder in fear as the doors close on the cabinet with Wanda inside. Vision then waves his wand and shouts, "Abracadabra!" He taps the cabinet doors three times with his wand and then Mary opens up the doors and Wanda isn't in the cabinet anymore.
"Tad- a!" Mary says with a large smile.
Wanda immediately steps out from the moveable back of the cabinet with a smile on her face, clapping for her husband's performance. Vision pouts a little though, "Yes, um, Wanda, you're not at all alarmed that the audience might just see through this little charade?" Vision asks.
Wanda steps down, "Well, that's the whole point." She points out to her husband.
Mary nods, "In a real magic act, everything is fake." She says.
