As Mary and Bucky walked carefully into the warehouse, Redwing followed closely behind. Mary didn't mind it, but her husband did. When they walked through the building in search of Sam, Redwing was hovering a bit too close for Bucky's liking. His annoyance with the mechanic sidekick then reached a tipping point when he swatted at Redwing.Mary huffed but couldn't help herself when she let out a small giggle. Her husband turned to look at her with the look of betrayal on his face. Which made Mary laugh slightly harder.
"Oh-ho-ho. Don't hurt him." Sam teased Bucky as Redwing went to the right and the Winter Soldier made it a point to turn left. And when the couple finally reached where Sam was, he was watching his armband which was showing Redwing's footage. Bucky was looking out at the opening to see the people they had come all this way out to catch. "You're doing the staring thing again." Sam mutters. Bucky simply looks at Sam, then to Mary who shrugged with a smirk. Sam looks up at the couple and with a nod of his head, he motions to the other side of the wall. "They're in there." He states to them as he sends out Redwing again to scope out the area.
"Where's the guy?" Bucky asks as Mary's eyes begin to glow amber as she senses the other people in the building.
Sam and Bucky watch Mary carefully and cautiously before Sam answers Bucky's question, "I don't know. I think they're smuggling weapons, though." He says to the couple and Mary hums in response as she feels the souls of those in the building. She could already tell they had been through a lot without even laying eyes on them. Her powers had grown since Westview and Bucky knew they'd only continue to grow at this rate.
Bucky tilts his head at Sam and pulls Mary into his side, "Well, i think you could be right." He states and Sam hums in response. "But there's only one way to find out." He states and then looks over at the opening he sees. "I see a clear path. I say we take it." Bucky says to Sam, but the Falcon doesn't quite like that plan. He glances at Mary and she nods ever so slightly.
Mary stops her husband before he walks away from them and Sam looks at his friend. "We're not assassins." Sam tells him.
"You're not an assassin, not anymore." Mary reminds her husband, riding on the coattails of what Sam had said to emphasize it.
Bucky sighs at Mary, he knew she was right. But he had done things in the field for so long, it was taking a lot of changing his mindset in this moment. And he had never been in the field like this with his wife. Mary had always been back at camp during the war. And the one other time they had been fighting together, it was against Tony. Which was not normal field work for a soldier.
"I'll see you inside... or not." Bucky says to Sam as he drags his wife away from Sam.
"Hey, come on, man." Sam whines with a chuckle, "Don't take my doc away. I'm just messing with you." He teases and then he watches Mary shrug as Bucky has a hold of her hand and pulls her along with him. "Come back." He mumbles.
