Mary lays beside Wanda in the master bedroom in the bed, both of them drained from the previous night. The expansion of the Hex was not something Mary had any knowledge of. And her and Wanda subconsciously ganging up against Peter was not something she anticipated. But something in Mary snapped when Peter mentioned Vision being dead.
Wanda moves her hand over to Vision's side of the bed only to feel a female body. Mary groans as she wakes up and blinks her amber eyes open, she then looks over at Wanda.
"Look, we've all been there, right?" Wanda questions as she talks to the camera with a chuckle. "Letting our fear and anger get the best of us, intentionally expanding the borders of the false world we created..."
Memories of last night flood both women and they both pull the covers over their heads. But the silence doesn't last as the boys stumble into the bedroom quickly, "Mom, Auntie Mary, are you guys coming down soon?" Tommy asks.
"Our game is freaking out." Billy adds with a slight panic in his voice.
Tommy then looks at his brother as they both look at their mother and aunt. "Are they sleeping?"
Under the blankets, Wanda musters up the strength to reply. "Mommy's not sleeping, honey." Wanda says from under the blankets.
Mary, who is also under the blankets, replies as well. "We're just resting our eyes." She whispers from the blankets.
"Mom, my head feels weird. It's like, really noisy." Billy says, trying to figure out why his new powers are acting this way. "I don't like it."
Mary and Wanda poke their heads out from underneath the covers and look over towards the twins, "Resting... her... eyes..." Wanda mutters softly.
"As punishment for Wanda's reckless evening, she plans on taking a quarantine style staycation" Mary says from the couch beside Wanda. "With me to watch her to make sure it goes according to plan."
Wanda nods in agreement with Mary. "A whole day... just to myself and Mary..." Wanda says to the camera. "That'll show me." She whispers as the camera zooms in on her face slightly.
Mary glances at Wanda and they both sigh, throwing off the covers to reveal they're still in their Halloween costumes. Both of them look each other over then look themselves over. They both sigh and put their hands over their faces.
"I got it first!" Tommy shouts at his brother as they fight over a controller.
"You always get to it first!" Billy whines. But they both stop what they're doing as they hear footsteps come down the stairs. The boys watch as their mother is dressed lazily in a robe and sweat pants with a loose shirt. Their aunt is dressed in a baggy henley shirt with leggings and fuzzy socks. Wanda's hair is in a messy low ponytail and Mary's short hair is slightly curly from the previous night.
