Zemo had clothes brought onto the plane before they left for Madripoor. The four of them changed into their respective clothes and were waiting on Mary to finish. Bucky wasn't sure how he felt about people staring at his wife in any way they wanted. He knew one thing though. He'd tear anyone to pieces if they so much as touched her. She was his alone. They didn't fight this long and hard to get here only for Mary to be touched and spoken to like she was a plaything to fulfill the Winter Soldier's needs. But that was exactly their disguise for her.
"Are you sure this is appropriate?" Mary asks the three men, her husband specifically as she stepped out from the changing room on the private jet. Her dress looked like black and silver chain mail, her pendant stood out along with her eyes as being the only things of color on her body. Her dress hit her mid thigh, coming above her knees. And she had on a pair of strappy heals with enough support so she could run if needed. Her hair was curled slightly with her mother's silver dragonfly pin in her hair.
Bucky's eyes grew three sizes as he stared at his wife in awe.
"You fit the role perfectly, Mary." Zemo compliments her and she rolls her eyes, crossing her arms at him.
"I'm the only person for the role." She quips back, "I don't like the role i'm playing but i'm not letting anyone else do it." Mary points out to them as Bucky stands. He grabs his leather jacket he was wearing before and lays it over her shoulders. Essentially claiming what's his without speaking it. "Thank you, James." She whispers, looking up at him. Her hand rested itself on his stubbled cheek and he nodded towards her.
"You're my wife, Luna." He whispers in reply. "I'll protect you no matter the cost." Bucky tells her and she knew he meant every word. Mary knew that Bucky would risk losing himself to Winter once again if it meant she was safe. Because even if Winter was a killer, he never harmed Mary. The innate nature of protecting Mary had always stayed with Bucky as he lost himself to Winter over the decades. His protective nature translated into protecting his own daughter in the Red Room without even knowing who she was.
"It wont come to that, Alpha." She whispers, kissing him to reassure her husband that she wasn't going to let it get that far. He kissed her back with urgency, the looming danger was rushing through him, the thought of Mary seeing him act like Winter for the first time was making him more stressed than he had felt in a long time.
Sam clears his throat as he stands from his chair. "We should probably get going here soon." He says, watching the couple pull away slightly but their foreheads connect as they take a small moment for themselves.
Zemo nods in agreement with Sam but then turns to look at the couple as they fully pull away, Bucky's arm still wrapped around Mary's waist though. "If i may ask one question..." He begins, drawing the eyes of the three of them onto him. "But what you call each other?"
Sam raises an eyebrow and then looks over at Mary and Bucky, "The Luna and Alpha thing?" He asks for clarification and Zemo nods.
"That's the one."
