As Bucky drives the truck towards the Maximoff/Vision residence, Darcy and Bucky had been telling Vision what has happened before Westview. All the parts in the memory that were missing, the two were helping him fill. "So.... Wanda killed me?" Vision asks confused. He couldn't wrap his mind around everything Bucky and Darcy were telling him.
Bucky and Darcy exchange a glance then cringe, "Yes, but it's not that simple." Darcy explains.
"You asked her to do it." Bucky adds. "Mary watched it happen, i had been knocked unconscious for that moment." He explains as best he could for himself and for Mary. He knew she would want Vision to know that they had been friends for decades. Since she came to live with Howard and Edwin Jarvis was the butler, to Tony and Mary creating Jarvis to cope with losing Edwin. All the way to the creation of Vision, which Mary had a hand in doing as well.
"Why would i have done that?" Vision asks regarding Bucky saying he asked Wanda to kill him.
"To save the universe..." Darcy mutters. "Well, half of it."
"Did it work?" Vision asks concerned.
Bucky hesitates and sighs. "It did." Darcy answers.
"Until the bad guy rewound time and killed you himself." Bucky states. "It wasn't pretty, i watched it happen, as did Mary."
"There are a few extra steps, but to set up the context..." Darcy trails off sadly.
"I came back and died again." Vision says as it registers in his mind why Wanda is the way she is now because of everything she's witnessed in her life.
"And she had to watch." Bucky mutters sadly. When he turns the corner he groans, "Another red light?" He questions.
"Kind of overkill out in the sticks here, don't you think?" Darcy asks Vision.
The synthezoid nods, "Yes."
"I believe... I think that Wanda is creating these.... impediments to stop me from returning home." Vision says to the camera, frustrated.
"Also, it never rains in Westview, right?" Darcy asks curiously. Bucky then watches the red light turn green and as he drives the truck forward, crew workers and their truck speed out in front of the three in the funnel cake truck. Darcy scoffs and Bucky huffs in frustration.
Vision simply turns to the camera with a knowing look and tilts his head slightly.
Vision scoffs with a shake of his head, "I'm not amused." He tells the camera.
"Just take your time, fellas." Bucky grumbles out frustratedly.
"So if i understand correctly, my original... code dates back to an AI called Jarvis?" Vision asks, Bucky nods. "But my corporal form was born of... Ultron's plan for global genocide?"
