After last night's game, Jimmy came home with me and spent the night. I spent the entirety of the night caring for Jimmy's sprained ankle. I let him sleep in this morning because Shanahan gave Jimmy the next couple of days off so he could get a jumpstart on recovery.

While Jimmy was still sleeping I was downstairs getting some ice together for Jimmy's ankle for when he finally decides to wake up. George and Kiara were also downstairs, getting ready for their day.

"How's he doin?" George asked me curiously, referring to Jimmy. I began scooping ice into a ziplock bag before I answered George.

"Eh, last night he was in a lot of pain and his ankle was pretty swollen." I informed George as I finished filling the bag with ice.

"Damn.. Well, heal up our guy would ya? We wanna get back to the Super Bowl." George stated before smiling widely at me. I rolled my eyes as I grabbed a bottle of water and anti-inflammatory pain meds.

"Yeah, yeah I hear ya." I retorted as I went up the stairs to check on Jimmy, he was still fast asleep. I set the water bottle and medicine down on the side table and picked up my phone, noticing I had a few texts from Shanahan. I read them, replied, and I got a text back almost immediately.

I honestly didn't mind taking care of Jimmy. I actually wanted to, so being paid to do it just made it that much sweeter. I set my phone back on the nightstand as I crawled back into bed with Jimmy since Shanahan wanted me to stay home with him anyway. I moved the blankets gingerly trying not to wake Jimmy, he needed as much rest as possible.
