New mission and a mysterious town

F/B- Favourite breakfast

Y/N's POV

"We should go to the reception to get our rooms," I tell Jimmy as he shuts the door behind me and locks the car, "Yeah let's head there," he says nodding as we start walking towards the entrance of the small motel.

"Hello welcome to our local motel 'American Dream' how may I help you?" the lady in the reception asked with a rather boring tone, "We have a booking for L/N and Woo," I tell the lady, "Let me check. Yeah for Y/N and James, your rooms are 132 and 133," she says handing us the keys of the room, "If you need help with anything feel free to use the room telephones to contact the reception", "Thank you," we both say as we walk away 

"Which room do you want?" I ask Jimmy showing him both of the keys, "I don't mind, you choose first" he tells me as we walk, "I'll take room 132 then and you can take room 133" I tell him handing him the key.

The motel is quite small, it has a 60's theme and is quite empty which isn't much of a surprise after all the town was very small and unpopular but it still seemed like a nice place ignoring the reason why we are here. Once we reach our rooms I use my key to open the red door to my room, and once we go in we see a black box on my bed

"I'm guessing here's everything we will need for the case," I tell Jimmy looking at him and he nods, "I'll check if I have one in my room or if this is for the two of us," he says walking out of the room, I go to open the box to find some clothes, weapons, case files, and other tools we might need,

"I also have one in my room, I think it might be individual" Jimmy tells me coming back into the room, "Yeah it seems that way, I'll let Fury know we arrived, and then we might want to rest because tomorrow we'll have a lot of work to do" Jimmy nods smiling at me, "Yeah I should inform my superiors as well"

Jimmy walks off to his room again and I call Nick, "Yeah we arrived, the drive here was fine, yeah the boxes are here, okay, yeah don't worry about it, alright take care bye" I end the call and walk to Jimmy's room knocking on the door, "Come in" he says and I open the door, he is sat at his bed looking through the box,

"Found anything interesting?" I ask him and he nods, "Yeah, we might want to read each record just in case" I nod, "We should, but maybe later, I don't know about you but I'm exhausted after the last mission and I need some sleep" 

"Yeah, I think we can leave that for tomorrow, if you need anything just knock" I smile at him and nod, "I will, goodnight Jimmy", "Goodnight Y/N," he tells me as I walk away and close the door behind me, I walk to my room and close the door, moving the box from my bed and laying down,

Today went really well, and though our date was slightly interrupted we will now get to spend more time together thanks to getting paired up for this case, I should probably thank uncle Nick cause he definitely had something to do with the pairing.

I  change into some pyjamas the motel had and then turned the light off laying on the bed and heading to sleep

~Time skip~

I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off, I take my phone and see it's 6:30 am, I stand up and go to the bathroom where I take a shower and brush my teeth, I then take one of the outfits from the box which is a white button-up shirt, black blazer, black trousers, and some shoes

Once I have changed I also see an FBI badge in the box with my name on it, I'm guessing I can't just say I'm from a private organization especially since I don't have an identification for it so saying I'm working with the FBI is more convenient for the situation, I grab the badge and put it on my pocket,
