Chapter 7

Tae's pov:

I stretched my arms and back and sighed happily as I enjoyed the early morning warmth.

I've missed these kinds of mornings.

No negative thoughts running in my head. No empty void in my chest. No feeling of being incomplete and unsafe.

Just contentment.

I was startled when I felt two pairs of arms wrap around me suddenly.

But then melted into the all too familiar warmth.

"Good morning love." They whispered.

"Good morning." I smiled.

We stayed like that in comfortable silence for a while.

"Ok let's get cleaned up or we'll be late for work." I spoke up.

They groaned and buried their faces in my neck.

"Come on let's go." I chuckled squirming out of their embrace and pulling them into the bedroom.

"You should rest for a few more days. You don't need to go back to work so early." Thanit said worriedly.

"I'm fine already Tha. I promise. And I want to go to work. It's uncomfortable not having anything to do all day." I answered.

"Workaholic." He pinched my cheek.

I grinned.

We went into the bathroom and took a shower together before getting ready for work.

"Welcome back, sir." Neil my secretary greeted me the moment I got off the elevator on the 14th floor of my company.

"Good morning Neil. How have things been going while I was away?" I asked as I went into my office.

"Quite well sir. Mr. Kimmon has been handling everything as you prefer while you have been gone." He answered.

I smiled. "So what's the schedule for today?"

He gave me some files and explained the deals which had been made in the last 5 months.

I smiled listening to everything.

Kim really has good business taste. He knows the best deals and always gets them easily.

"Ok, so I have around 2 hours before the first meeting right?" I asked after he finished explaining everything.

"Yes sir." He nodded.

"Ok, I'll study these documents in the meantime. I'll call you if I have any questions." I said.

He nodded and went out.

I took one of the files and started going through it.

Tae can Lin come out to play? Lin reached out after a few minutes.

I chuckled. After I finish work and get home ok?

Ok! He smiled widely.

I went through all the documents one by one.

Neil came in just as I finished going through the last one.

"Already finished sir?" He asked.

I smiled. "Yup."

"As fast as always." He also smiled.

I looked at the time. "Oh, it's time for the meeting right?"

"Yes sir. The meeting room is ready and they will be here shortly." He nodded.

I got up and went out with him.
