Recovered With Love

Chapter 1

Mew's pov:

When i went into my house, it was eerily quiet.

The lights were turned off and it looked like there was no one there.

"Tae?" I called out as i turned on the lights and made my way inside.

No answer.

I looked at the entryway and could see his shoes there and his car was also outside the house so he's home.

I made my way upstairs and into our bedroom.

He wasn't there either.

I could hear the sound of water being splashed and soft giggles.

I blinked.

I rolled up my sleeves as i went into the bathroom.

He was in the bathtub.

It was a bubble bath and he was playing with the rubber bunnies.

"Eli?" I asked slowly.

He looked at me and smiled widely.

"P'Mew!!" He squealed.

I smiled softly.

I went upto him and knelt beside the tub.

"How long have you been in here?" I patted his head.

He tilted his head.

"When Eli got in it was 6!" He held up 6 fingers.

"It's already past 7 Eli. I told you it's not good to stay in the bath for so long. You'll catch a cold." I sighed.

"Sowwy.... Eli didn't know it's alweady 7..." He looked down guiltily.

I bit my lips.

I really can't win against his sad expression.

"Ok come on. Let's get you out and dried off." I said draining the water and taking the shower head.

He obediently let me wash him before getting out of the tub.

I took the bunny towel and started drying him off.

I then lifted him up and brought him out of the bathroom and into the walk in closet.

"What do you want to wear?" I looked at him.

"That one!" He pointed at the bunny onesie.

I took it and a pair of underwear before going to the bedroom.

I helped him wear them after putting him down on the bed.

"Are you hungry?" I asked after i finished.

He nodded vigorously.

"I'll take a shower first and then I'll make some noodles ok?" I smiled.

"Ok! Eli will wait!" He smiled widely.

I chuckled and patted his head.

"Here. You can watch some cartoons until i come out." I took the tablet and turned on kidstube before giving it to him.

He took it happily.

I went into the bathroom after taking some clothes from the closet. 

When I came out Eli was sitting on the bed hugging a stuffed bunny and watching a video on the table which was on the bed.

I smiled softly and went up to him.

"Eli."

He looked up at me smiled widely.
