Chapter 30

Mew's pov:

They spent the rest of the day playing with Forth.

Eli told him all about his favourite cartoons and showed him his bunnies.

Forth listened intently to everything he said and didn't seem bored even for a second.

Lin took him around the house showing him his drawings.

Forth looked really amazed seeing the level of artistry in them.

Abbey was a bit shy and quiet with him.

But Forth didn't act at all differently with him.

He kept up his smile and initiated the conversation and brought up some fun facts about bears and things that interested Abbey.

By the end he was a lot less shy and was actively talking with him.

I stayed aside watching everything play out.

It was a beautiful sight to see.

Of course, i sneaked pictures here and there to keep as mementos.

When it was time for dinner, unexpectedly, they forcefully pushed Blake to the front.

He was a bit annoyed at being forced to the front but his mood improved the moment he saw Forth.

Forth smiled the same and kept up a light conversation about his interests while we ate.

Apparently, even Forth likes to play guitar so they ended up having quite a lengthy conversation about that which went on for 2 hours before Forth had to leave.

"What is it?" I asked him as he stared at me after we settled on the bed.

He sems to be hesitant.

I didn't say anything and waited patiently for him to speak up.

But he just sighed and shook his head getting under the duvet.

I blinked confused.

"Blake? You know you can tell me anything right?" I patted his head gently.

He pulled the duvet upto his chin and hummed softly.

I sighed and nodded.

I guess he won't tell me now.

I just sat leaning on the headboard and took my phone.

I made sure to keep a bit of distance from him but didn't stay too far.

I didn't want to make him uncomfortable.

I was surprised when he snuggled close to my hip after a few minutes.

I didn't love away and looked at him.

His eyes were closed but i knew he was awake.

The tip of his ear was red.

I couldn't stop the smile that made its way onto my face.

Is this what he wanted to ask?

I patted his head gently. "You got shy huh?"

He didn't reply and just buried his face in my hip making me chuckle.

Thanit's pov:

When i got home, it was already 11 pm.

I had to stay the whole day at the hospital because of a car crash on the highway.

I groaned and rubbed the back of my neck as i went inside.

Tae and Mew are probably already asleep.
