Chapter 22

Thanit's pov:

They came in and stopped when they noticed me and Kim.

"They're Thanit and Kimmon." Forth spoke up.

"We've never seen you with them before." They looked at him frowning.

"Yeah. That's because I just met them myself. Sit. I'll explain." He patted the couch beside himself.

They slowly came and sat on either side of him.

They were looking at us warily.

We just smiled at them as Forth explained what we had talked about until now.

Which wasn't a lot but yeah.

"You did say sometimes he would act very different and call himself different names..." Park muttered.

We blinked.

Wait...

"You met some of the alters?" I asked.

Forth slowly nodded. "I think so... If I remember correctly, the names were Blake, Will, and Ethan."

My jaw hung low.

He met the 3 trauma holders?!

"Those are 3 very important alters of the system," I sighed.

He looked at me.

"DID is a very complicated disorder. It will be hard to explain shortly. But for now, we came here to ask if you want to meet your brother." I said.

"Of course I do. I've been wanting to see him for the past 17 years." He replied immediately.

I smiled and nodded. "Tae wanted us to search for you. And we're glad we did. But before you meet him, you need to be familiar with DID and how to act around him."

He nodded intently.

I took my phone out of my pocket and gave it to him. "Can you give me your number? So I can contact you. Next time Mew will also be there. He's Tae's psychiatrist so he'll be able to explain better than me."

He took my phone and typed in his number before calling it.

He gave it back to me.

"So wait. He's dating his psychiatrist?" Lam frowned.

"Well, we didn't really start off our relationship like that. Mew was a close friend of mine who helped me find Tae and save him. Tae stayed with us from then on. And before we realized it, we fell in love with each other. We did notice his odd behavior from the very beginning but didn't address it until he was stable enough to handle that conversation. He didn't want to go to any other psychiatrist so Mew offered to become his psychiatrist. That was after we started dating." I explained.

They nodded in understanding.

"I'm glad he's not alone anymore... It's so good to know that he's safe..." Forth gripped the locket in his hands and breathed a deep relieved sigh.

Tears started streaming down his face.

Lam and Park patted his shoulder.

Kim nudged my side.

I looked at him.

He leaned in and whispered in my ear. "You going to tell him about the new alter Forth?"

"Not now. Mew and I will explain everything when we meet later." I answered.

He nodded.

"Your and Tae's birthday is coming up soon right?" I looked at Forth.
