Mew's pov:

I sighed for the nth time.

Something definitely happened in the headspace in those few seconds.

His mood did a complete 180.

I've never seen him shed a tear. Ever.

And Neil said he has refused to eat anything all day.

Apparently, they had a board meeting and it worsened his mood more than it already was.

It's already 2:45 pm.

If it weren't for the appointment, I would have gone there and force-fed him already.

Thanit is also busy with some appointments in the hospital.

And I'm not sure how he'll react if one of our friends go there.

I'm still not completely sure how much he has changed.

I don't want a scene to break out in the company.

I massaged my temples.

"Dammit..."

I made my way to his company right after finishing the session.

I bought some food on the way.

When I got there, the employees were running around frantically.

I blinked profusely.

I quickly went into the elevator and pressed the button for the 14th floor.

Neil was looking through some files and typing on the computer when I got off the elevator.

"Neil?" I approached him.

"Khun Mew." He shot up.

"What's going on? Why is everyone running around so frantically?" I asked.

"Actually he fired 5 of the board members. So we need to decide who's going to get promoted and advertise the vacancies quickly since we have a lot of projects coming up shortly." He answered.

My jaw dropped.

"Why did he fire 5 of them at once?"

"They have been causing some problems for a while now. Sir didn't fire them earlier because of the urgent projects that needed to be worked on and we couldn't afford to short-staffed while working on them. He was planning on firing them soon and finding replacements from within the company." He explained.

I nodded and went into the office.

He was sitting behind the desk typing away at his laptop.

He looked angry and tired.

He didn't notice I had come in.

I took out the food and drink I had bought.

He flinched and looked at me wide-eyed when I sat down on one of the chairs in front of the desk.

I shoved a spoonful of fried rice in his mouth before he could say anything.

He frowned.

"You can continue working. But you need to eat. I don't want you collapsing." I said.

He grumbled but chewed his food while continuing to type.

I continued feeding him until all the food was gone.

"Here." I gave him the drink.

It was an iced coffee.

He gulped it down in seconds.
