Chapter 10

Blake's pov:

I sighed and sat back in the chair.

I finally finished all the paperwork for today.

Those 5 bastards really left a lot of damn work behind.

I looked at the time.

10:30 pm.

There was a knock on the door.

"Come in." I called out.

The door opened and Neil came in.

"Sir i have finished the preparations for the promotions. The advertisement will be sent out tomorrow for the vacancies." He said.

I nodded.

"You've been working nonstop sir. You haven't had dinner either. You should go home for today." He added.

"Yeah. I already finished all the paperwork." I gestured at the pile of files on the desk.

He nodded. "I'll take them tomorrow morning."

I got up and gathered my things before going out.

I yawned while driving back home.

Hey focus on the road. Don't get into an accident. Will poked me.

I groaned.

I know.

I pulled up in the garage and went into the house.

I stopped when i saw Thanit and Mew sitting on the couch in the living room.

Thanit was the first one to notice me.

"Oh you're home." He got up.

With that Mew also turned and got up.

They came up to me.

"Why are you guys still up? I texted you saying that i would be late and not to wait for me." I said.

"You haven't had dinner have you?" Mew crossed his arms.

I shut my mouth.

"Come on." They pulled me to the table before going into the kitchen.

I took off my jacket and rolled up my sleeves before sitting down.

A few minutes later they kept a plate of pasta infront of me along with a galss of juice.

"Eat." They sat down infront of me.

I silently started eating.

"You shouldn't neglect your health you know?" Thanit sighed while i was eating.

I looked at him.

"I know work is sometimes hectic but don't skip meals. If you can't take breaks eat some light snacks while working." Mew reached out and wiped some food on my cheek.

I hummed and nodded.

We settled in bed after i took a warm shower.

I was between them.

I didn't feel too uncomfortable although i felt a bit anxious. But i didn't push them away.

And they did make sure to not get too close. They kept a bit of distance.

Which i appreciated.

I slowly closed my eyes and let myself fall asleep.

The exhaustion quickly set in and i was out like a light in a matter of seconds.
