[victoria's pov]

"I'm going to miss you two," I said, hugging Lily and Molly. Tears streamed down my face. I didn't know if this was going to be our last hug so I cherished it.

"Don't cry, Victoria," Lily said. "It's only for two weeks."

I laughed and dried my tears.

"Yes I know," I said and sniffed.

We had just got off the train at King's Cross Station on platform 93/4. Lily and Molly's parents were waiting in their cars for them.

"Are you sure you'll be ok at the orphanage?" Molly asked. "My room has an extra bunk."

"Yeah. Besides, I'll have Tom to keep me company at the orphanage. We also miss the little kids," I lied. Especially about "missing the little kids". I hated the guilty feeling about lying to them, but I couldn't put them at risk. They were the sisters I never had.

"Ok, but owl us if anything happens or anytime you want," Lily said.

"Don't worry, I will."

"When will your caretaker arrive?" Molly asked, concerned.

"Mrs. Cole is always late, but she'll show up. Eventually," I said with a small laugh.

After we bid our goodbyes, they left. I waved goodbye to them until they were out of sight then looked around for Tom, but he found me first and grabbed my hand. He swiftly pulled me behind a column just in time before I got run over by a large cart. I bumped into his chest and quickly moved away. He gave me a strange look for a second.

"Are you ready?" he asked.

"Yes."

I closed my eyes then he grabbed my other hand and apparated back to Hogwarts. Dumbledore had taught us how to apparate in class a few days ago, but it was really just a trick for Tom and I to learn. Tom didn't know anything about Dumbledore and my conversation, so he figured it was just a normal lesson. We ended up in the Slytherin common room. Almost everything was green. It was cleaner and more organised than the Gryffindor common room. There weren't even any paintings.

Tom and I stood next to each other hand in hand. It was eerily quiet.

"I think we're alone now," Tom said.

Tom said it in a weird way. He sounded rather excited for some reason.

"The Slytherin common room is neater than I thought I would be," I confessed.

"There are enchantments to keep the room this way," Tom said.

I nodded, slightly impressed. I suddenly yawned, signalling I was tired.

"It's late, we should get some sleep," Tom said.

"Yeah. We should," I agreed.

We stood there awkwardly looking at our feet.

"Come on," Tom said and walked towards the stairs.

I followed him into a room with a single bed and a couch by the window.

"You have your own room?" I asked.

"I requested some privacy," he said. "Dumbledore allowed me to as long as I promised not to isolate myself."

"I see."

Tom put down his case on the floor and grabbed a pillow. He walked over to the couch and set it up to be comfortable.

"I'll sleep on the couch," I said.

"No, you'll be sleeping on my bed. I'll sleep on the couch," Tom said.

"Tom, it's fine," I said.

He looked at me intensely.

"No," he said and hopped on the couch.

"Sometimes I forget how stubborn you are," I said.

He smirked and turned the opposite direction of me.

I made myself comfortable on his bed and faced away from the couch. I couldn't sleep though. I had a lot on my mind. My mind kept on wandering to the prophecy.

Who is the chosen one? I kept on wondering.

My eyelids grew heavier. As I was about to drift asleep, I felt someone join me on the bed. I opened my eyes, confused, then saw Tom laying next to me. I smiled at him. He didn't even look at me and just closed his eyes.

"The couch is cold," he said.

"Oh, ok."

His back was facing me, but I couldn't fall asleep anymore since I opened my eyes. I wrapped my arms around him and I shut my eyes again, feeling more comfortable. His body didn't tense like the first time in the Gryffindor dorms.

He must be tired. I thought.

His body turned toward me, but he was still asleep. His face was millimetres from mine now. I couldn't help but stare at him with admiration. I never knew how much someone could affect me. My smile didn't disappear as I watched him sleep (not in a creepy way, lol).

I yawned and pecked his lips before going to sleep. I could see the corner of his mouth slightly curl. It was barely noticeable, but since I was right next to him, I could see.

"Goodnight, Tommy," I whispered.

Then I shut my eyes and went to sleep.

・゚✧in the morning・゚✧

I opened my eyes at seven A.M. since I wasn't feeling tired. The first thing I saw was a sleeping Tom. It was the most peaceful moment I had ever seen him be. I couldn't help but grin at him. If I didn't know him, I would never suspect him as the Dark Lord. I was staring at his beauty for the one-hundredth time.

"I must be very good looking for you to stare at me for five minutes," Tom said, slightly frightening me.

I smiled.

"Yes, you are," I said and kissed him then quickly got out of bed.

His eyes widened.

"Hey! Come back here!" I heard him yell as I ran out of the room.

I quickly rushed down the stairs. I looked behind me to see if he was catching up to me, but I bumped into someone. I didn't fall, luckily. I looked at the figure and saw Tom.

"You're such a cheater," I said, pouting.

He smirked and leaned closer to me, trapping me in a corner.

"Oh really?" he asked.

My back hit the wall and I could feel his breath on my neck.

"Yep," I replied.

He left soft kisses on my neck.

"Tom-"

He quickly pulled away

"Should I stop?" he whispered.

I blushed. "No."

He smiled and kissed me roughly. His kiss went deeper. The kiss became sloppy and he lifted me up. He carried me bridal style and brought me over to the couch. He stood up and unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his fit body. My eyes widened and he smirked, amused by my reaction. We continued the session and it became more passionate as we revealed more about ourselves.
