Unlocking a door just before the tip of the stairs, Isabella spoke, "I've set aside a room for you."

"Yes, thank you." Sister Krone said, nodding.

Halfway up the stairs and leaning against the wall, a certain trio watched them with analyzing expression.

"That sure is gonna be inconvenient." Ray said, referring to Krone's placement.

"She's between the three children's rooms." Emma added, pursing her lips.

"It'll be easier for her to watch us." Norman followed, his hands crossed.

Then, the two adults, Isabella and Krone, turned to face the eleven-year-olds who put on a smile, minus Ray who had his usual unbothered expression.

Sitting outside in a circle, Y/n conversed with his fellow friends, Nat, Thoma, Lannion, Phil, Don, Gilda, and Anna.

"What do you guys think about Sister Krone?" Nat asked, pulling at some of the grass.

"She seems nice and maybe we can play a game with her." Thoma replied.

"Agreed." Lannion nodded.

"She seems caring." Anna fiddled with the end of one of her braids.

"Mhm." Don and Gilda agreed.

Noticing the awfully unusual silence, they turned to the perpetrator, growing irked upon seeing him holding two object.

Sensing the stares, Y/n blinked owlishly as he looked at them.

"Do you think detergent can be a quick one-way ticket to death?" He asked, pouring the liquid into a plastic cup.

"It might taste gross though. I wonder if I can add juice or lime to it so it'd taste better?" Y/n looked at the cup, slightly swishing the liquid with every careful shake he gave it.

Then, he fell back as a ball made contact with his head, and he let out a surprised sound as someone took the cup from his grasp. Siting back up while rubbing his head, his eyes landed on Gilda who wore an upset expression

"Stop that! You're just wasting supplies. I could tell Ray or Mama!" Gilda threatened with an irritated smile.

Y/n just blinked at her and then said, "Your vitality is so blinding!"

The others just sighed and got up as the bell rang, dragging the brunette back inside before he'd wander off to hide in the forest

It was now the evening and the remaining light from the setting sun peered into the windows of the library, shining on the three kids who stood there, speaking.

"I was so focused on the trackers that another adult never crossed my mind." Norman said.

"We should be happy about this." Ray looked at him.
