"The important thing is to buy time. Run and hide until the music plays again, and you're saved."

'I'll help the kids get away...As many of them as I can. I won't let them die. When someone is right before my eyes, within my reach...I just have to help them!' Emma thought as she ran in the forest.

After a long while, music played once again, indicating that the hunt was over. As it played, many disheveled kids with somber expressions gathered in an area.

"It's over..." Emma said. 'We're safe...?'

"Is anyone hurt?!" A boy yelled out.

"Come here for help!!" Another shouted as he stood beside the other, carrying first-aid kits.

'Medicine...So they have proper medical care here?'

Y/n yawned as he kept his hands in his pockets, blankly watching the kids be treated.

"Hey, Emma. What do we-"

Y/n cut himself off as Emma perked up upon remembering something. More like someone.

'Oh right! Theo was hurt!' Emma thought, now running around.

Y/n slightly pouted and sluggishly followed after her.

"Theo! Monica! Jake!" Emma called out.

"Well then, let's meet again later!"

'How is Theo doing with that injury? Monica and Jake must be fine too...right?'

Y/n's eye shifted to a semi-dark path and there he saw Theo leaning against the wall, legs hugged to his chest.

"Emma." Y/n said.

The girl looked back at Y/n, and the boy simply pointed to the side.

'Phew, there he is.' Emma thought with a smile.

Y/n narrowed his eyes as he observed Theo's body language.

"Theo-!"

"Emma." Y/n cut her off.

"Huh? What is it?" Emma asked.

"He's alone, Emma." Y/n simply said, emphasizing the 2nd word.

"Huh...?" Emma blinked slowly.

Hearing their voices, Theo turned his head, revealing his blood-shot eyes.

"Y/n...? Emma...?" Theo muttered, slightly sniffling.

"...Where's...Monica and Jake?" Emma asked with a horrified expression as Y/n glanced at her.

"Run!!" Monica exclaimed.

She sprinted in one direction and the other two ran in separate directions.

'Why?! How did this monster get in front of us?!' Theo thought in disbelief.

'I thought you'd choose downwind...Smart kids like you would point them in this direction and separate. You're as good as I expected.' Lewis thought.

'Well, then. I don't find much sport in hunting rabbits, but...'

'I gotta say it. I gotta say it!' Theo thought.

"They're from Grace Field!"

'But...I can't! If I tell that horrible thing know...Y/n and Emma will...!' He thought, tightly shutting his eyes.
