After reuniting with Y/n and finishing traveling around the world, the kids were dead-set on finding out more bout what Y/n has been doing all this time. Currently, they were following right behind him as he led them to where he worked, but they still hadn't got the slightest clue as to what it was.
"Sooooo! Where are we going? Where do you work?" Thoma asked.
"We're going to a building. And I work with people." Y/n replied, clearly not answering the question completely.
It's not like he cared about them knowing it, he just didn't feel like explaining and it was quite amusing to see the kids get riled up about his lack of care and purposeful teasing.
"Come on! Just tell us!" Lannion huffed.
"Hmmm...How about..." Y/n brought his hand to his chin. "Nope!"
"Y/n!"
Soon, Y/n entered a building and the kids followed, curiously looking around.
"So you work here..." Alicia mumbled.
"We thought you were just living here. We didn't know that your job was here." Chris said.
"I don't live here. But I do live nearby." Y/n said.
"Hey, Y/n." Yvette looked at the boy.
"Hm?" Y/n sent her a glance, motioning for her to continue.
"Where's your friend? The one we saw you wave bye to at the mall we found you at. He works with you, right? I heard him mention a name and how you had to leave." Yvette said.
"Oh. That's Atsushi. He's my friend and work buddy." Y/n replied.
"Really? So you must be close considering you might share interests since you have the same job." Dominic said.
"Ehhh. I don't know about that. I found Atsushi at a river where I had tried to drown myself, but he saved me, unfortunately. Then, he unknowingly took the test to apply for a job here, and that's why he's here!" Y/n grinned.
"Huh?" The kids deadpanned.
"A river? What was he doing there...?" Sherry muttered.
Y/n stopped in front of a door and turned to the group.
"Now. Here we are. But I must warn you that when you leave this room, and you tell anyone about what you see in here...you'll be silenced." Y/n said, making them take a step back warily.
"W-What...?" Nat stammered.
"Really?" Phil questioned as he fiddled with his hands.
"Nope!" Y/n grinned.
"You scared us!" The kids yelled at him.
"But you will notice that the agency holds a strong love for me as I'm the member they most rely on and they can't help but trust me no matter what." Y/n placed one hand on his waist as the other was on his forehead and he wore a proud grin.
"Wow..." Some of the younger kids looked at Y/n with amazement.
'Not buying it.' The older kids deadpanned.
'Y/n may be helpful, but I wouldn't say he's reliable or very trustworthy.' Ray thought, unamused.
"Good morning, everyone!" Y/n grinned as he threw the door open and entered the room.
"Y/n!" Kunikida yelled as he marched over to the brunette, grabbing the collar of his shirt and furiously shaking him.
"You're late again and you have a lot of paperwork to finish considering the fact that you haven't done your part this past week! The president is expecting you to take responsibility and finish what you need to do!" Kunikida exclaimed.
