'What? What's going on now?' Lewis thought as he stood in front of Adam.

Adam only stared as he kept muttering.

"Did he just throw part of a house? What is this guy..." Ray said, staring with wide eyes.

'Adam?!' Emma thought, also shocked.

"GO, ADAM! BLOW THAT MONSTER AWAY!" Someone yelled.

Adam brought his arm back and punched Lewis, sending him back.

'I took a hit? Me? From a human? My arm is broken. That kid. Come to think of it...He's from one of Bayon's investments, Lambda 7214.' Lewis thought.

'Adam! Amazing...As well as...' Emma thought. 'You came to help! Violet!'

"Now! This is our chance, everybody! Take aim!" Mister yelled.

Lewis glanced at all the humans who pointed their guns at him.

'I see...There's no way to avoid them. This is bad.'

They all fired shots as Lewis tried his best to dodge.

'Even in this situation, he's able to dodge!' Ray thought.

"Y/n! Emma! I met Adam on the way here! What's the status on the flash grenades?" Violet asked.

"We used it! But soon the effects will wear off! And it's hard enough to attack, even like this!" Emma said.

"All we have to do is keep wearing him down. Fortunately for us, normal shots can hurt him now." Y/n grinned.

"Got it." Violet said before blowing a whistle. "Adam! Keep throwing!"

Adam tore a chunk of a house and threw it at Lewis who was baffled.

'They must've noticed it. My declining ability to regenerate. This is getting harder. More so than expected. This phenomenon called aging is really weighing me down. But it can't be helped. I regenerated the cells burnt by the lightning strike, that bright flash of light, my hand that was blown up by their shot, and now I have to restore a broken arm. It's been a long time since I've darted around like this. I almost feel as if I'm running wild like in the old days.' Lewis thought.

'But...What is this feeling? I've only ever felt like this once every few hundred years. I will not be defeated here.'

'If this plan fails, it will be our defeat. If we can stop him before then, this will be our victory! Don't stop!' Emma thought.

'There's no doubt that it's working. But it's still not enough. All we can do is keep shooting to wear him down.' Y/n thought.

"I won't allow you." Lewis said, lunging towards Violet.

A click was heard and an object was thrown at Lewis by Emma. The humans covered their eyes as the object flew in the air.

'Just from the sound of that pin. You won't fool me twice! Is what Lewis is probably thinking.' Y/n thought as he slightly glanced at the demon who covered his face.

Then, Lewis dodged a bullet shot at him by Ray.

'I won't allow you to get closer. I see. Surely it's-'

The demon was cut from his train of thought when his jaw was shot off by Mister. Palvus then screamed, making him dodge just before a pillar was thrown at him by Adam.

'How repetitive, Adam. It's tough moving around during all this.' He thought, maneuvering around.

"Pay attention. Aren't you endangering two of your own?"
