Y/n laughed at Ray and Norman who scrambled after Emma and the younger kids who began running around the mall, looking around excitedly and screaming in joy.

"Wow! The clothes here are so cute!" Gilda spoke, staring at the window of a store with pure awe.

"We want some cool toys!" Thoma grinned as he and the other boys ran over to a toy store.

"Wait for me! I want a doll!" Jemima exclaimed as she lagged behind them.

Y/n plopped onto a bench and got comfortable, closing his eyes as he tilted his head up.

Then...

...his eyes shot open and he immediately stood up.

Jemima wore a frustrated expression as she stood on the tips of her toes, fingers inches away from a doll on the shelf.

"Hmm...!"

Then, she let out an exhausted breath, and a peeved pout appeared on her face.

"Where's Don when you need him?" Jemima huffed.

Just then, a hand reached forward and grabbed ahold of the doll before holding it out for Jemima.

"Huh?" The girl blinked in surprise.

She inched her chin up and stared up at a suited man who simply smiled at her.

"Hello there." The man smiled, slightly cocking his head to the side.

"Um..." Jemima uttered, taking a step back.

"I mean you no harm. Here you go. I saw that you were reaching for this." The man chuckled as he scratched the back of his neck.

Jemima hesitantly took the item and was silent for a moment.

"Thank you, sir...! Sorry if I troubled you!" Jemima said.

"Oh, it was no trouble at all." The man waved off as he turned so his back faced her.

"I've got experience in dealing with little girls anyways. I know how much help they need at times."

"Rintaro! Look what I found!" A girl exclaimed as she ran over.

"Ah, Elise! Is that what you chose?" The man smiled.

"Yes, now hurry! I want to go buy candy!" The blonde girl pleaded.

"Of course." The man smiled.

Jemima watched the exchange with a bit curiosity before realizing that she was technically being nosy.

"Um...I'll be heading off, sir. Thank you again." Jemima said.

"Hm?" The blonde girl looked at Jemima curiously.

"Ah, I forgot about you for a second." The man sweat dropped.

"Well..."

The man clears his throat before looking back, staring at Jemima with his seemingly piercing eyes.

"I do have a job I have to do here."

"What?" Ray froze as he stared at the group of boys.

"Eh? Are you sure? Maybe you missed her?" Emma suggested with a nervous expression.

"No, we didn't! Jemima's missing!" Lannion exclaimed.

"I asked around and no one saw her except the cashier! The cashier said that the only girls she saw were two that already left with a man!" Nat said, wearing a distressed expression.
