A very long time passed since your engagement, and for the first time, everything was pretty good.

You started back at work. It began as a staggering return, only going in on certain days of the week, and helping on cases but not going into the field.

Then you slowly began coming into work more frequently, until finally, in February of the new year, you fully integrated back into the team.

And since then, things have been good.

There was a point in the middle of that when Dr. Clark finally diagnosed you with BPD, which led to multiple board meetings.

Hotch was willing to lose everything to keep you on the team, and despite how stressful that month was, it paid off in the end when you were kept on the team.

Once that was all over, you finally began planning your wedding.

After the realization of how little time you and Spencer had officially been a couple before you got married, you both agreed that there was no rush to have the wedding.

It was much to Penelopes' dismay when you set the date 2 years after the engagement. She obviously couldn't wait, so 2 years felt much longer for her.

But for you, it felt like the right decision, firstly, you wanted to be absolutely sure Spencer was right for you even though you knew from the start he was.

You also wanted to be happy and comfortable in your own skin. You wanted to wear a white dress and not worry about what people could see, or think.

And don't get me wrong, those 2 years weren't easy, you worked extremely hard to get to a place where you wanted to be.

You fought through every single depressive episode, refraining from hurting yourself and giving up.

You pushed yourself out of bed in the morning, got changed, and went to work, no matter how bad you were feeling.

You wore clothes you once never thought you'd be able to wear in front of the team. You revealed a side of you no one had seen before, not even Spencer, but it was a side of you that everyone loved.

Penelope and Derek practically begged you and your fiance to have a Bachelors and Bachelorette party, you weren't too bothered, but you were never able to see what the hype was all about.

Spencer complained that it would be really weird if he, Hotch, Rossi, and Derek hung out at a strip club which was something Derek had suggested and so it was decided that the parties would in fact be one party with both the husband and wife to be, together.
