The idea of having a Christmas wedding seemed like a great idea in your head. I mean, you imagined snow, and Christmas lights, and the smell of cinnamon filling the air.
You had some of that when you woke up on the morning of your wedding, but not all of it.
Unfortunately for you, you woke up to rain, heavy, heavy rain, tapping on the glass.
"As a brit, I should've seen this coming" you sighed staring out the window while the hairdresser styled your hair.
"Y/n, don't stress, it'll be fine, most of the wedding is inside anyway" Emily assured you.
"It's not that, I just... I just thought it would be nice to have good weather, but it was my fault planning this at Christmas. Spencer said we should do it in summer, but I insisted because my idea of a wedding was based on 'love actually', and that wedding scene in 'Nanny Mcphee'," you pointed out glumly.
"It's going to be perfect" Penelope whispered.
"Don't worry?"The rain settled after an hour or so, and for a moment or two, you thought the weather would be fine, because the sun came out for quite some time, but then the sun disappeared and the sky went grey very quickly.
"Y/n, it's almost time, are you ready?" Penelope asked, wandering over to get a good look at you.
You went for a traditional white dress, with long sleeves, not to cover yourself up, more to keep you warm.
It took a while to pick the right dress, you were with the girls at the dress shop for the entire day trying to find the right dress.
"I'm ready" you smiled anxiously.
"Cold feet?" JJ frowned.
"No, I'm fine. Just nervous. What if I stumble down the aisle?" You questioned.
"That would be really funny" Liv giggled.
"Thanks" you chuckled.
"Don't worry, I won't let you fall" Liv assured you gently.
