"Y/N?!" The team called as they searched through the forest. It was so dark, even with their flashlights it was hard to see anything.
"HELP" You screamed loudly, your voice echoed through the forest.
"Y/N?" Spencer shouted back picking up his pace as he began running through the forest trying to follow the directions of where your screams were coming from.
"SPENCER! HELP!" You screeched, it was an awful sound to hear, it was something that would haunt the team for a very long time.
You sounded terrified and helpless and in pain, yet they couldn't get to you.
"Y/N?!" Emily shouted, noticing some movement 100 yards ahead of her. Spencer noticed the movement too and began running closer, yet every time he did, you seemed to get further away, it was like chasing a rainbow.
"Y/N!" Spencer yelled.
"HELP ME! HELP ME!" You begged as your screams began to get quieter and quieter as you were dragged away from your team until you went completely silent.
"Y/N!" Spencer called but he received no reply.
In the distance, the team could see a pair of bright headlights, and hear the sound of an engine start.
Everyone raced to the car, but it pulled away quickly, and down a side road before anyone could get it.
It was so far that no one could see the number plate either, so tracking the car was even harder. Hotch called swat agents to run back to the SUV and try to chase the car, but everyone knew by the time they got there you and Taylor would be long gone.
"We lost them, sir," A swat agent said through the radio a few minutes later. "I'm sorry."
"Fuck" Spencer muttered under his breath, holding his hands on his head as his eyes glazed over. "She was right here"
"What was that?" Rossi frowned looking over at the young genius.
"She was right here!" Spencer repeated raising his voice in frustration. "SHE WAS HERE!"
No one said anything, because they knew it was true, and there was nothing left to say. They couldn't tell him it was all going to be ok, because that was not a promise anyone wanted to make when your future seemed almost over.

Y'know, when you decide to take a nap in the middle of the day, and when you wake up, you have no idea if it's the next morning, the evening, or if you're even in the same reality anymore.
